Matt godden is a 25 year old who has had one good season in league 2,seems a bit crazy to spend 500k+ on him dosnt it?
Just on reading reports about him i think aaron pierre would be a great signing,he turned down a contract offer from wycombe.

I hope it's not too "substantial". 15 L2 goals in open play and one decent season in League football isn't worth paying through the nose for. He is decent, but his game is fairly basic. But in DC we trust. |

But in DC we trust. It's fake mate, copy of the sky sport journalists account on twitter. I would still expect DC is doing a couple of deals with Charlton being just over 3 weeks away. |

I can't believe it is only 3 weeks away. I must admit I expected a lot more activity from us at this stage. I'd love to see DC and MS work their magic on Bradley Fewster. The lad is a natural finisher and working with someone like Stewey might unlock some of the potential he's previously showed. There is a potential 20 goal a season striker in there somewhere. |

An assist and another quality finish here from Schmidt. He's also scored 5 goals in 3 pre-season games. I wonder how much he would cost and whether he would be interested in a move to England? Might be better value than in this country...

Smith is a keeper that has stood out from when he first joined Northampton, Slocombe had the third best clean sheet record in League Two last season and has always been a steady keeper. It's the best competition we have had in that position for as far as I can remember. I've always rated Sercombe from a distance. We've probably needed competition for Browner, so Bola should provide that. EDIT:[Menayese a promising prospect]. All good. Looking forward to the other centre back, defensive midfielder, winger and striker signings now. |

Problem is from our perspective there's no signs of any players joining the club, loans or permanent signings, whilst every other Div 1 club seems to be signing up players on a daily basis. Perhaps Lambert & Taylor are joining us on loan and Lumley & Sweeney are returning to join them but there's little info coming out of the club to know what's going on. So one minute you're moaning about no info frkm the club then the next damni g aomeone for asking for info from the club. Doh! |

Just had a look on the FGR forum and they seem most excited about the possibility of getting striker Kaiyne Woolery from Wigan.Looked very good in the play-off final,haven't seen him before but could be worth a look if Wigan were prepared to let him go to a fellow league1 club.

Might be better value than in this country... Another two goals here from yesterday, this time in Saarbrücken's first league game of the season. The second (3.15mins) in particular is a good finish. Looks a good player to me, one who's value in this country will only increase. 6ft 1in, strong, good pace, can score off both feet, decent in the air, good finisher. |
