Why wont they listen to you Pirate... LOL Got any younger Brandon Hanlan type players that we can use for immediate cover and then develop in the u23s ? Would be keeping a close eye on Luke Charman at Darlington, Lewis Reilly at Chorley, Joe White at Hendon, Jacob Wakeling at Alvechurch, George Nikaj at Dover/Ramsgate, Alex Fletcher at Tiverton, Joe Iaciofano at Havant & Waterlooville and Kesna Clarke at Tooting & Mitcham. I like Fraser Preston at Boston United, but he is playing more as a winger. Edit: Ben House is one at Eastleigh who I think could continue to impress this season and eventually attract interest from higher levels. As I've said before though, the one striker I'd like to see us sign and develop further is Tristan Abrahams. Saw him against Hitchin last month, didn't really stand out. Was impressed by Callum Stead and Jhai Dhillon for the Hitchin though. Dhillon is doing well for himself away from football see.

Was on the books of Luton, but made his debut in senior football in non-league for Hoddesdon Town as a 16-year-old.

I came back to this thread to search "Koiki" to see if pirate had spotted him before. Any idea about him, pirate?
It's interesting actually to go back to page 1 of this thread from 2017, to see where your initial Wishlist players are now.
Obvious picks are of course Ivan Toney and Harvey Barnes, while some others have gone on to do well like James Collins, Brad Potts and Chris Maguire. Surprised to see that Corey Whitely never made it at Newport and is back in the National League again.

A few more non-league youngsters been impressing in the early stages of the season are Mitchell Tait and Ricco Spencer at Ilkeston Town and Carrick Hill at Alvechhrch.

I watched a game today between Weston-super-Mare and Banwell. A young lad for Weston really stood out...Ryan Jones. An attacking midfielder/number 10 with a lovely left foot, good pace, nice balance and dribbling ability. He impressed last season for Clevedon Town u18s. One for Rovers to watch and keep an eye on. First time inside a ground for ages tonight and the lad Jones impressed as a left back/wing back for Weston in a 2-1 win vs a Bristol City XI. Been converted to the position this summer. Two MOTM performances in a row. Got a few important tackles in tonight, showed good pace and energy to get up and down the flank, put numerous dangerous crosses into the box and got a good assist for the first goal. Worth monitoring. England Colleges U19 player.

18-year-old central midfielder Jamie Cooke catching the eye at Colne with 8 goals and 4 assists already this season following his release from Fleetwood Town during the summer.

Hopefully they will be already known to someone at the club, but there are a few good youngsters at Chippenham Town that have been in or around the first team setup in the past year or so that are worth monitoring. Right back/winger Luca Robinson, centre back Landon Golding, midfielders Noah Coppin and Nathan Byrne, and striker Dan Warre. The lad Warre was top scorer in the prestigious Northern Ireland Super Cup (formerly Milk Cup) for Chippenham a couple of summers ago. Currently has 5 goals in 2 games in the National League U19 Alliance this season. He also scored 7 goals in one game during this season's FA Youth Cup vs Newent Town. www.pitchero.com/clubs/chippenhamtown/news/the-academy-road-to-success-dan-warre-2451166.html

Could be worth offering Nathaniel Mendez Laing a short term deal? I know itβs not clear what the nature of his breach of contract was but he would be one hell of a player to have in League One.
Nile Ranger got plenty of second chances after all.
