Quite like the look of the former Cardiff City and Wales U19 youth Harry Pinchard at Hereford. The young striker Lewis Rourke at Basford Utd has been in good form and catching the eye too. http://instagram.com/p/CVDMP3ftdOk 19-year-old Reece Wylie spent some time with Nottingham Forest during the back end of last season and in pre-season before his release. Would be worth monitoring at Hartley Wintney. A couple of young left backs have been impressing too, namely 19-year-old Bryant Akono Bilongo at Kingstonian and 18-year-old Brad Bood at Telford Utd.

Two more highly-rated players in non-league to keep an eye on. 18-year-old Ollie Tanner at Bromley who can play wide or as an attacking midfielder. Made his first team debut in the National League as a 17-year-old. Left footer previously on the books of Charlton and Arsenal. 17-year-old striker Jayden Wareham at Woking who scored lots of goals in their youth and development sides and made his first team debut in the National League as a 16-year-old. Tanner been on fire this season for Lewes. Class. http://instagram.com/p/CVDHY76sgCo

The youngster Jaevon Dyer playing for the Kinetic Academy and representing Corinthian Casuals this season in the FA Youth Cup (reached 2nd round so far) has caught my eye. Played for Whyteleafe in the National League U19 Alliance last season and helped one of his other sides into the final of the London Saturday U16 Cup Final. Huw Dawson another lad impressing. A regular for St Albans City in the National League South at the age of 17, he scored his first goal at senior level last week, an absolute peach of a goal.

Not been as excited about a player from that sort of level since I tipped off the club about Charlie Austin at Poole Town in the Wessex League. The kid is rapid, direct, great close control, decent in the air and can finish off either foot. The goalscoring rate of Kone compared to Austin at the same level and age in the pyramid is very similar too. Kone with 37 goals in 34 starts and Austin with 42 goals in 48 games. The potential is frightening and room for development at a professional level with day in day out coaching and guidance is immense. If I'm right in thinking he's non-contract I believe he could join us straight away and in no time at all he could be pushing for a place in the first team squad. Not being hyperbole at all when I say this kid could potentially make us some serious money in the future if developed correctly. 24th goal of the season yesterday. Pace, strength, can score off both feet. What a player. Only 19-years-old...Get him in for a trial!

James Abankwah at St Pats looks a promising defender over in the League of Ireland. Only 17-years-old, he has already made 11 first team appearances. He won a league and cup double at U15 level in his first season, before winning the U19 league title playing three years above his age-group. Can play as a right back or centre back.
Another highly-rated 17-year-old defender is Sean Grehan at Bohemian.
And the 20-year-old midfielder Jack Moylan impressed on loan at Wexford from Bohemian, winning Players Player of the Year after scoring 8 goals and creating 9 assists from 17 appearances.
The 21-year-old UCD midfielder Liam Kerrigan has also impressed with 12 goals and 9 assists in 21 appearances.

Ruben Rodrigues for Notts County looks like he can play one or two levels higher Rotherham were said to have enquired about him in the summer and they are apparently interested again, along with Blackpool and Lincoln City. Ethan Coleman at King's Lynn is decent.

The big 6ft 4in striker Josh Quarless looks a handful. Scored 14 goals for Burscough this season and just moved to City of Liverpool FC. Certainly worth sending someone to watch him.

I see Aylestone Park from the second tier of the United Counties League are through to the 2nd round of the FA Youth Cup after beating Lincoln City on pens after a 4-4 draw after extra time (this after beating Notts County in a previous round). I'm not sure who scored for them tonight, but the lads are basically made up of players from Christian Fuchs' 'Fox Soccer Academy'. This lad Dominic Fisher previously caught my eye for them. Currently the Fox Soccer Academy London’s Top goal scorer in the CAT 1 ECFA league. Would be worth a trial with our U18s with a view to U23s and beyond.

Good start at his new club and impressive individual season continues. Shouldn't be too difficult for Joey or Eddie Jennings to have a look as it is on their local patch after all.

Pirate what do you know about these 3 players the 72.co.uk said the gas should look at this list in January Ashley Hunter Morgan Boyes and Macauley Southam-Hales Joey has worked with all three of them so will know better than most what they are capable of. I first saw Hunter at Ilkeston before he stepped up into the league and has always done ok against us. Boyes looked decent in the Liverpool u18s when I watched him alongside Rhys Williams, but wasn't the tallest. It was Williams I wanted us to take on loan at the time, but he went to Kidderminster and then the following season was playing in the first team at Liverpool. Boyes can also play at left back so offers a bit of versatility. I remember Southam-Hales name was mentioned on the forum before he moved to Fleetwood as he was linked with a few clubs following his player of the season performances in the Welsh Prem. As I said, Joey has worked with all of them so will know their games inside out.
