Saw Mustapha Carayol signed a short term deal with Burton yesterday.... Defo better options out there but would've had him back for the nostalgia.

Nya Kirby, AM (formally of Crystal Palace, Tranmere, Blackpool)
Elijah Dixon-Bonner, CM (formally of Liverpool)
Ash Kigbu, CB (formally of Man City, Stoke City)
George McEachran, CM (formally of Chelsea)
Josh Shonibare, LW (formally of Derby County)
Mohammed Aminu, LW (formally of Man City)
Lots of these guys have experience in Dutch First Division, so have the right pedigree. Potentially some neat pick ups here

He was a bit of a belter on social media when he wanted a move away here whilst under contract. Seem to remember he said the club was 'holding him prisoner'. Great player for us but I had no time for him after that. |

No idea what happened to him last season as he just seemed to disappear off the radar at Barrow, but I would be seriously tempted to offer free agent Callum Gribbin the chance to train with us if I was Barton. If (big if admittedly) he could stay clear of injuries then the lad has the ability to be a big star at this level (and above) with the right coaching and guidance. Its no exaggeration to say Gribbin was one of the most naturally gifted players I've watched at youth team level when he was at Manchester United. Best as a no 10, but can play out wide on either side or even as a false 9.  
I still think this lad will play at a decent level one day. Outstanding ability. Tragic that a lad with his level of ability is playing in the Northern Prem League. |

It's a real shame he's being prevented from playing at a higher level, especially as he's been in the country for a few years now. Would be a real asset at league level and as I pointed out previously, some even think he's better than Dwight Gayle who played in the same league as Kone. |

Dunno if the "reports suggest he could yet return to Bristol Rovers where he first started out" are just because he was mentioned in the post by Sam Frost of they have heard that he has actually been in talks with us 🤞 |

Edit: revealed to be Andy Carroll! |

Looking forward to watching the progress of the highly-rated youngster Harry (Bo) Bridle over the coming months. Already has a goal to his name this season. Shocking goalkeeping there. Might see if Bognor want me to try out he looks that bad! Doesn’t cover the angles on first, rushes out but doesn’t make himself big enough for the second, and wanders into the back of the bet for the third like that Homer Simpson hedge meme.
