All those people who were peering into their phones during rovers home games and citys losing run and hardly watching our team that were playing live right in front of them,i guess they must give a sh**? And your point is ? A few seconds checking your phone to check scores of not only the sh** but other teams in our division, does not account to 90 minutes of not watching the gas so total bollocks comment IMO Simple point really,if they didnt give a sh** they wouldnt bother checking their phones.

Says the one who create Threads like DC wont be here next year funny after you wrote that he signs a 5 year deal Besides when we hear the sh** are losing it lifts the crowd so how is it a negative thing Im guessing it bothers you as you must be a sh** head in disguise

I care because I love Rovers and hate the sh** and want them to lose. But it doesn't mean I spend all our games looking at my phone to see how they're doing. The Gas winning is great but it's even sweeter when they lose too and when we lose it takes some of the pain away if they've lost too. That's what it's like as a football supporter who's lived all his life in one place supporting one club. It is for me anyway.

By now, they should have been in the prem. Jesus, compared to what other teams have spent, they should be pushing for Europe... I was so upset, growing up in the 80s and 90s and seeing the way some of their absolute scumbags behaved (and we really weren't half as bad, they were effectively committing acts of terrorism on us)....I almost lost hope. It seemed to be a cruel joke that they were bestowed with riches and we got L2 and 20 years of humiliation. I've been waiting, and waiting, for that inevitable day where they catipulted up the leagues....it didn't happen, did it. Now, the championship is as competitive as ever. Steve Lansdown is not as big a fish in that league, with more and more foreign investment. I am feeling they lost their chance. They were too rich for the championship for many years, thank god for Dean Windass. I know it's a Rovers forum, blah blah, but they are linked to us like yin is to yang. Here's to another year of underachievement, regardless of cynical, spiteful and (allegedly) spooky transfer dealing. I find Your first paragraph interesting because I've spoken to two of my shithead mates in the last couple of days about there expectations and they were of the opinion that more Sh1!heads should expect less because their club isn't a big spender compared to many championship clubs and mid to lower table is about right for what they spend. I honestly don't know if they've spent so much these last few years that they should be in the Prem by now, I do know that they've spent many times more than us but are only just above us in the pyramid which suggests perhaps that they're under- achieving. It would be interesting to see a table of what they've shelled out compared to other championship sides to get a proper idea. Not that I really give that much of a toss but if they are underachieving then I could use that as banter ammo against them. Edit :I've just looked and over the last 5 seasons they've spent £11.5 m and received £18.5 m That's only just over £2m per season spent so bottom Half of the league tables probably about right I d suggest that they aren't over or under achieving. They spent 30m adding 6000 extra seats or thereabouts. That would add £6m to the annual figures. Plus, didn't SL write off a load of debt? Transfer, yes, they haven't been ridiculous but still, the money pump has not inflated anything yet, and going down to L1 in that time shows poor returns in my eyes, but I'm a gashead!

They keep splashing cash on random foreigners and it's hardly paying off is it? I'd say Kodjia paid off. Obviously but there's a fair few that haven't.

Obviously but there's a fair few that haven't. He's basically funded their transfer activity for the past 5 years. He was bought for 2m and sold for 15m. 'Socrates' said they have spent 11.5m and recouped 18.5m over the past 5 seasons, largely thanks to Kodjia.
