I think you are right there. My understanding for what it worth is that if I pay the £45 subscription, I will get everything gasplayer supplied but in addition the full game video but because I live in the UK after the game has finished. All supporters in other parts of the world can watch the games live. I assume gasplayer is now defunct which is annoying as my subscription has always run from January to end December and I would have been in credit till then. Others more in the know may be able to elaborate on the details. You can sign on to ifollow using your gas player log on details. Thanks for that Kev. I registered for ifollow but have not paid the subscription, so will try my gas player details.

I've just log in tonight with my old Gasplayer log in, but at present there seems no option to continue with my previous £4.49 monthly subscription just the option to buy the annual season ticket, I now regret cancelling my monthly sub for the summer!

Just to clear up some confusion about what you get with iFollow: UK residents will get access to live audio and extended highlights. There won't be delayed video matches. To get the full live stream you either need to be outside of UK & IE, or if you are in the UK / IE you need to use a VPN to sign up for the £110 subscription, and then for every time you want to watch a live match. In regards to friendlies - clubs may offer to show full friendlies, but it is not part of the default service and unfortunately the official BRFC site is a bit misleading showing the video icon next to the friendlies. Someone at the club should really clarify if any friendlies will be available. I think you need to make it clear there's a possibility a VPN might not guarantee access once you've paid your subs, plus iFollow's subs page clearly states "Full match replays" for the £45 annual UK subs. I doubt anybody will lose any sleep over friendlies not being shown but it'll be odd if Hull show the game and Rovers don't.

You're right, the BRFC iFollow page contradicts the EFL iFollow FAQ, so I've deleted my post, and absolutely right about VPN - should be considered a risk at this point.

You're right, the BRFC iFollow page contradicts the EFL iFollow FAQ, so I've deleted my post, and absolutely right about VPN - should be considered a risk at this point. I use a VPN regularly and software seems to be getting smarter. Can still watch Sky Go overseas with a VPN, but BT Sport uses location stuff aswell and wont play if you turn that off, so no joy there. Im assuming as iFollow is new they will have everything bolted down (sadly!)

Theyve been uploading highlights to iFollow. Not sure about livestreams.

Im assuming as iFollow is new they will have everything bolted down (sadly!) I think it depends on how closely they want to police it. It has to be overseas only due to the Saturday 3pm blanket ban. If it still generates more money for the EFL & club (without affecting attendances) I wonder how much effort will be put into stopping VPN's.

Little to no chance they will be able to do anything about VPNs

flying back to the Middle East today so will sign up for it this weekend. I assumed the first live games would be the season opener but would be nice if some of the friendlies are shown live.

Really not ITK about this kind of stuff, and apologies if this is obvious or has been already mentioned, but surely someone will stream this online illegally?

I for one, am absolutely over the moon about this ifollow doofer and can't believe I'll be able to watch my beloved Bristol Rovers next season. Shushhh, don't tell anyone but the fella that owns my favourite watering hole will put 'em on in his pub. Happy days. UTG!
