Good to hear Stu being his usual positive self and Im also sure he's going to do himself and Rovers credit in 20 + games this season.
But, Im not sure what his positivity about the squad is based on compared to last season, As things stand - Lumbley gone - replacements (on paper) unlikely to be of that standard (but we shall see).
No replacement for Taylor, Montano nor Sweeney. Only one plus and that's the signing of Sercombe.

Lumley only had a handful of league games before he came to us, Slocombe and Smith have been integral parts of promotion winning sides and come to us very highly rated, I'm struggling to see how they are worse on paper than lumley? We will get replacements for the players you just mentioned it's only a matter of time. I think the team going into the first match at Charlton will be stronger than the team on the opening day of last season. Sinclair has every right to be positive UTG

I've also no doubt we will get players in BUT we haven't yet AND we have no idea if they'll be in for August 5th nor if their quality will be up there with the 3 mentioned in my post. Not being overly- negative - this is the state of affairs I'd say.

Boring interview to be honest. Felt like the journalist was walking him to the coach and then elongating a short conversation for the purpose of generating a dull generic article with a click-bait title. I guess the article in the BP didn't full reflect the full 5 mins interview although the main gist of it seems spot on to be fair to JV, the aim is top 6 then!

Im 58 and however long i live stuart sinclair will for me always be the player i most associate with our recovery from the misery of non league. Thats no disrespect to others like lines, brown, lockyer and er taylor but the way stuart has gone about things on and off the pitch has been a breath of fresh air to me.

When a player of the club I've supported all my life talks as passionately about it as I do I know the clubs in good hands.

If he plays for 15 (90 mins), would you go as high as £11. You've got yourself covered there. That's one of them "I was wrong I admit, but happy to pay the amount I promised." How much is a pint at home now? UTG!

It seems a bit churlish to only pay up if he finishes the 90 minutes as well as starts! But then I suppose his terms didn't need to be accepted. I think Sincs might well start more than 10 because I can see him being utilised on the right side of midfield on occasions. He'll definitely be in DC's plans.

All adds a bit of excitement to the season ! I would Love The beard to play every minute of every game this season because he is what this team is all about, but with the quality of the Midfield now i can only see him playing a limited bench warming season this season

Sincs will play a lot of games.
He will get close to 30 imo.
DC has already stated he's looking at playing 5 in midfield.
He is probably the next to play wide right if Bodin was rested or could not. Almost every time I've watched rovers with a neutral or an oposistion fan, Sinclair is picked out as one of our best players. I Think people don't give him the credit he deserves.
Very good player.

The beard is the best player we have had at this club for years, may not be that technically gifted but he makes up in so many other ways, he as been my favourite ever since his first game I saw him play, one of DC,s better moments signing the beard
