Wael and his family deserve massive respect, we in the UK need to understand that when foreign investors are prepared to financially back projects in our country then we in this country need to behave like gentlemen. The UWE ignored the deadline and did so with the planning expiry date looming, this is at the very least extremely rude and hardly ethical. I suggest that the UWE governors and their legal team undertake a course on business ethics and behaviours. On the footballing side under Wael's presidency DC appears to have put together the strongest squad Rovers have had, this century, even though I personally think we will struggle to get anything from todays game at Charlton.

I missed the update regarding the training ground development? The concern for me is that Wael's spending is just adding to our, already, out of control debts as we must now be living well beyond our, limited, means. Hamer said a couple of months ago that the training ground would be at least partly in use for the start of pre-season training in 2018-19. Nothing said since so I have no doubt that still remains the case. Stop worrying it's all progressing nicely until a statement to the contrary appears on the website.

Topper, I was being sarcastic ...not a chance that the training ground will be ready for 2018-19 pre-season in my view. My feeling is silence = no action and we will hear about any progress pretty quickly.

The board and owners are not our friends. They are business people and custodians of BRFC and will do their best to to make this club successful and profitable. Investors invest for one reason. We have demanded answers from The Dunsfords and Higgs in the past and the same applies to the current board and owners despite our recent success and that WAQ has put money into the club. I am not against the board and grateful that we appear to be moving in the right direction but the new stadium was a massive thing for us fans and as important in the progression of the club as big signings and promotions
