Yet more gasincider bullsh1t to get repeated on the terraces so that people like Topper can come back on here and say "It's true - a load of blokes on the terraces said so!" (Which, by the way, is a truth test no other allegation would withstand). Gasincider has form now - He doesn't like what's happening with Rovers so the bullsh1t rumours start. This is just doubling down on his "Wael had no idea what the contents of the talks with UWE were". That one didn't stick so he's upped the ante. See you in 100 pages of assumptions stated as fact. Do you know for a fact it's bullsh1t or are you just making assumptions? I thought you got really, really annoyed with people who do that. You can't prove a negative but you can show absence of proof. There is currently more scrutable evidence for The Loch Ness Monster than there is The Consortium. So, on the basis of the available evidence over the course of nearly two years - I know for a fact it's bullsh1t. |

If a consortium exists that wants to progress the UWE then Dwayne must step as side for the good of the club. The UWE is our best chance to sustain ourselves at a higher level. Respect that other people will disagree but this is my personal opinion.

If we are talking facts then the fact is our current owners felt that the UWE deal wasn't good for them and/or the club.
Everything else is conjecture.
I've always felt the UWE deal as we were being told was a poor deal for us.

I thought the offer was 125 years lease and a peppercorn (nil) rent due to naming rights ? I think we need to recognize that best financial interests of the Al Qadis and the Club as a football team my not always coincide. The big cost whoever is the owner is the repayment and return for the investors who pay for the stadiums build whether UWE or Mem. The big question is whether UWE or the Mem has the best chance of generate the income needed to pay these investors whoever they are. |

I thought the whole problem was that they had pretty much agreed terms, but UWE started reviewing things that they had already agreed. So it wasn't the case that UWE provided terms and we decided to that they weren't sustainable - more that UWE failed to provide their final terms at all. |

Is it just me that cant see the planning going through with developing the mem. I really don't think it will happen. i think the uwe was our only really hope for us to progress further.
