Horses for courses. Was more into this, myself. Once again, cheap commercial crap. and yet one of the most influential bands on the planet, not really commercial until johnny rotten left the band then mclaren went balls out for the cash cow,

Problem with this thread is theres way too many songs that could be posted. but for now some x-ray spex(fantastic song about depression, polar opposite to CCR's have you seen the rain(comming down on a sunny day) but the message is similar

Great stuff. Not just four blokes standing around, looking like they`re taking part in a Pele lookalike contest. Another of similar ilk.

Prefer Wasted Life by SLF. nah here's the best slf song, really identified with it both of these good but at the edge classic, loved white noise(not for the message but a ace track) and johnny was yer tis hugo crank up them speakers try checking out some wire, magazine, poison girls, last resort(one of the best Oi bands around, millwall roy's voice is unique, also try Oi mate by the gonads, cocksparrer, acab by the 4skins is worth a try as well so many songs not enough time to listen to em all

Not exactly a song, but I've seen Dave perfrom this a few times with Steve Vai live on tour. Only 30 seconds or so but I like it. Turn the volume up.

I didn't like much music from the 80s. All that big hair and tinkly synths over everything, but this stands out for me.
