Glad to see no one else bothered getting up for this, or otherwise you've all fallen asleep by now. The lack of transparency with no video stream is awful, just putting out a tweet every 2/3 minutes - joke - we'll have to get the EFL to sort this out, oh, sorry, EFL... I was up for it. Woke up on the button for an old mans and followed on Twitter. Painful.

From Wolves. Chinese owned wolves drawn at home to the lowest ranked team in competition. This was in a non televised draw that nobody witnessed.
Nice.

What I don't really understand is whether Carabao are simply sponsoring the cup, which would be fair enough, or are they organising the draws? It seems mental to let an outside entity organise it, when the Football League (EFL) have been doing that stuff for years, and always (you would think) apply the requisite oversight. Surely the EFL can't be handing over elements of organising the draw, can they?

Did you know we are playing the match at 330 am to suit the Chinese audience!

Sorry, can I come back in please ? In a bizarre coincidence the KLF reformed today after 23 years, the power of gaschat knows no bounds. I thought that. Just after posting my post I was on BBC news and it was one of the top stories. I used to know Jimmy cauty (as an artist) - top guy. very chilled.

We're the lowest ranked team left so we should fear no-one: nothing to lose against ANYONE! seems slightly unfair to label us the lowest ranked after 3 league games. Usually the lowest ranked is considered where they were at the end of last season, so Doncaster are very clearly lower ranked than us. It does however show how well we've done with only us two Lge 1 clubs left.

Fair enough Martin, that's another way to look at it, albeit I'm factually correct - but I'll happily go along with your last sentence: amazing how the League 1 and 2 teams have disappeared even before the top Prem clubs are introduced.

I noticed all London clubs drawn at home, and it wouldn't surprise me that future plans for the final would be penciled in to be held in Asia.
