Malta are a great team and everyone just needs to trust Gareth's judgement, because we're undefeated and if the trend continues we'll be on 99 points by 2020. Something something keyboard warriors, etc...
Only joking around, have a good evening all!

Tommorow is the big TV game anyway! Like chalk and cheese watching that in comparison. Well excited! Albeit it will be tough. yup you can't beat the tension watching the Gas on sky. Especially away, it does offer a different platform to actually being there. Should be a close encounter. Maybe save this for tomorrow's match thread!

I think when Rovers are on TV you want a good performance for obvious reasons but you also know a good few people around the country are watching so want the boys to do us proud even more. The only guarantee is the travelling gas will do us all proud.

Another inept display by a bunch of overpaid, overrated prima donnas. No wonder Sterling was substituted at half time, obviously to prevent him from any further embarrassment. Woeful, sums the lot of them up.

Whenever I watch England or the Prem it makes me wonder if I ever want Rovers to be there. The higher you go the more it becomes about celebrity rather than sport.
The Championship is just about the last decent league level now. As for England '96 was probably the last time I was truly proud of our football team. Even that's probably a bit of rose tinted glasses.

In the 21 years since other European nations have vastly improved their youth systems, we are starting to produce better young players now but still years behind countries like France with their Clairfontaine development centre.

I've got an idea how we can improve our young players so we can have a future national side to be proud of. Let's introduce U23 sides into the Checkatrade cup. Oh, wait a minute ......

England on the other hand just frustrate me so much, IMO they play unimaginative football and are too safe and timid going forward, I know they win games but it's just not entertaining is it? Weird really as individually our players are capable of much more when they play week in week out in the premier league but when they come together for England it just turns into dross!

I don't get why people travel to watch this rubbish, can't be for the football, it wastes enough time having it on the tele.
Until Uefa restructure, which they won't, then qualification is a non event.
It's the one good thing about not going higher than league one, it would be well annoying to be missing football for this.

When i support my teams (Rovers and England ) I want to see the players give absolutely 100% effort and believe in themselves 100%. I see that with the Gas but I haven't seen it with England since the late 90's. I didn't watch tonight because I've pretty much given up on them. I usually watch the major tournament games but with no more excitement than watching for example Brasil or France because I don't feel in any way connected to them. My wife's welsh and therefore our daughter Welsh / English and I enjoyed watching wales play in the euros because they reminded me of DC s Gas. A team full of good players that can create very good performances and progress well beyond people's expectations.

I popped up kwood for one and the game was on tv but drowned by the jukebox! Sums our national team up over the last 10/15 years.

To sing about drinking all the beer and not wanting to go home, cringe. The fans embarrass me as much as the players.

With all due respect, I watch England away frequently, we're not a good side but win quite often. Incase no one had noticed, we are a very small country, so have no right to win anything. We've just won 4-0, but still not good enough. Sounds like another team I support!! 😳
