I will wait for DC to announce the team tonight, then debate the positive/negative points as we see them - UTG

Attacking line up though always like Lines in any side. Need to win all our home games though as our current away form is so poor - bar cup games !

If I were DC I would consider putting Bola in at RB, after all he did amazingly well there against Fulham. I'm not sure Leads is match fit yet so may need to be rested. I would also like to see Telford given a chance. Much as I don't rate Moore I think he will have to come in. I think DC may want to save Parts and Nicholls for Saturday. My starting 11: Andre Bola / Locks / Sweeney / Brown Sercome / Clarke / Moore Bodin / Harrison / Telford Maybe, but I always think that you shouldn't mess around putting weakened sides out for home games. 8000+ go to a home game whereas 500-2000 go to an away game. f**k up away from home and the following dwindles but none of that gate money comes to us anyway. However, f**k up at home and fans will disappear. That is real gate/pasty/beer/programme/merchandise money lost to the club.

I think it's going to be a tough game tonight. Oldham will be well up for it. Agreed, but I think we'll win. 2-1 Rovers. UTG!

I see a lot of us are felling confident today - choosing 5 at the back Hoping we don't - think it will be a tough game - partly because of our injuries and form - think it will be a 1 -1 or 2 -2. ( but obviously praying we'll play better and be more solid). Hope to see Telford and Bola get some action !

Plus getting 3 pts tonight will be a damn slight easier, on paper anyway, than Saturday! Back to the previous poster, why would Nichols require resting for Saturday anyway, when hasn't played a full game in the last 2 matches?

Have a gut feeling that Telford will start tonight instead of Nichols alongside Harrison I'm going for 3:1 win Telford to grab 1 if he starts
Andre
Bola Locks Sweeney Brown
Parts
Bodin Sercome Moore
Telford Harrison
4-1-3-2

I think the surprise might be bola in midfield I like the sound of this. I don't like having a go at any of our players but I can't remember Moore having a good game for us. Why not give Bola the chance to see if he can play on the LW?

Their recruitment strategy reminds me if Piet Vale last season.....

Anybody know what the deal is with a 4 year old attending with a ST holder in the West Enc? Do I have to go to the ticket shop to sort her out before hand or can she just come in with me?

Their recruitment strategy reminds me if Piet Vale last season..... It does seem very similar. Some of them have experience of a higher level, but will they adapt to the English game and have their heart in it? If they all click and settle it could work well, but I have my doubts. On paper Menig in particular looks a good signing though, having scored 14 goals in 67 Dutch top flight games and 11 goals in 31 second tier games, mostly from the wing.

Unfortunately DC's stubborn streak has come to the fore so far this season with Moore.
Think he's hoping Moore has a blinder so he can say I told you so. The reality is he doesn't look anywhere close to having a blinder
So, Moore to start tonight

So with Oldham Athletic and Bristol Rovers having the worst defences in the division you would expect a high scoring game. Has to be 0-0 then.
Its going to be windy and those kiddies beachballs they play with and call footballs these days are going to be blowing all over the place. There will be mistakes tonight for sure.
Andre (?) though wouldn't be surprised if someone else suddenly appeared in goal.
Brown Sweeney Lockyer Leadbitter
Partington Sercombe O Clarke
Nicholls Harrison Bodin
subs: Under 10's keeper , Telford , Broadbent , Bola , Gaffney , Moore , Lines ( although might rest if still a bit sore )

Looks as if smith is out warming up.. hand injury couldn't of been as bad as first thought.
