Can you offer an intelligent response? Steve Sidwell and Wayne Bridge were not brought in by Brighton while they were in League One. There we go.

Thank you Gashead. I know that - I was making a point of principle relating to strategy for progress.

Thank you Gashead. I know that - I was making a point of principle relating to strategy for progress. Take a look at the way Brighton recruited (and their league finishes) up to 12 months before the Amex was opened. Blaming the manager and the ownership is pretty illogical when you look at what both have to work with. Until the infrastructure is on the way - which as Brighton know takes time - last season is about as high as Bristol Rovers can consistently expect to finish. DC has worked wonders and continues to do so, no other manager interested in BRFC would get close.

The manager isn't good enough. Simple. Getting Bristol Rovers out of conference and l2 is not enough for the next phase. But B R F C is not a club or team that equates with the 7th biggest city in the uk. Wise up. Look at the recruitment facts and the constant team changes - and the blather about winning meaningless cup games. The playiing strategy is all wrong. Bullshit springs.to mind. The manger is afraid of others wisdom. No leadership, experience or hard nosed grit. In. . 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 Agree! As if there aren't enough clowns on here! UTG!

Can anyone confirm what ban will Sweeney get for Saturday? Will it be 1 or 3 games and does the cup game against wolves count or will he be available for this one and banned for Saturday or both!

People are certainly getting carried away. However we dont have good enough / natural wingers to play 442 which hinders options. We are short of centre mids if get injuries/suspensions to constantly use 433. Our strike force simply isnt good enough to challenge doing better than we did last season in a now more competitive league. This squad is a top15 squad and we need to accept that Our strike force has been doing fine and we will continue to score goals (as long as EH is taken off the pens ), it's the ability to control centre mid and a defence and GK who can deal with attacks coming their way - too many goals conceded from corners, teams scoring against us when we have players seemingly in position - Oldham. But recruitment suggests no better than mid table - maybe like last year DC will get better quality to improve the situation.
