I think if somebody sang a song about me being a 'honky with a 24" penis", I don't think for one second I'd feel racially abused.......In fact, I'd just laugh, and I would also laugh at anyone who thinks that I have been abused. What if they said you were ignorant of the entire history of race relations in the country, the history of slavery and victorian style scientific racism, more recent racism in the country, the clear inequalities between different races, the struggle for equal rights and equal treatment, and any other context that might make your comment ridiculous, or you were just pretending to be that ignorant so you could post disingenuous bullshit on the internet? |

Would you rather footballers were all white, fans were all white, the only foreigners you'd see are the chink down the chippy or the paki in the corner shop? Some people on here are beyond saving. I've just sat down with my kids and explained that they can't sing along when they watch Postman Pat anymore cos it's so stereotypical towards postmen. They also can't mention his cat cos although he looks black and white on the telly, he's actually green and orange. And they are to steer well away from his sack for fear of being reported by a w**ker who gets offended by the tenuous link between postman's sack and scrotal sac.
Hold on, can I even say w**ker? After all, that assumes he has a hand with which to perform a w**k so now I'll be accused of not being inclusive as I have inadvertently and innocently excluded all amputees. Bunch of dickheads.
Oh, but I probably can't say dickhead either as I am excluding people who don't have heads that resemble dicks. It just goes on and on.

i know of a elder gentleman who recently was removed from the ground and banned from the stadium because 2 ladies may have heard him say something under his breath... as yet the police have not investigated these claims.... i feel sorry for these ladies because if the police can prove nothing he fully intends to speak to his solicitor about action he can take against these ladies. i advised him not worth the bother, but you know what old people are like LOL Its a sad world when it comes to this....... These threads always terrify me to be honest! Highlights the fact that we do have a racist element within this clubs fan base. Very sad. It does. We've had a few recently and it actually depresses me how many people are stuck in the 70s. At least the club is starting to get its arse in gear with pulling people up who are openly racist at the ground. Will hopefully get a few people to take a good hard look at themselves. |
