An awful lot has happened since. Some of the most exciting games in our recent history during the final months of that season and some incredible goals.

I wasn't at the game but watched it on telly, and with the current situation we're in now, wonder if we will ever see the likes again. And when you think about it we are talking of promotion to league 1 ffs!!

Probably my favorite ever away game with Rovers in over 30 years.
There with my son, just getting settled in our seats, Campbell picks up the ball in midfield.........................
If you were there i don't need to say another word.

It's amazing really to think that he could hit a shot like that considering the amount of times I seen him in a Rovers shirt with a shot crying out to be shot and he would always look for the pass instead.

Only got 1.56 mins in to the video and that was enough for me. Too painful to watch any more. We were a totally different class and at the moment i can't ever see us getting there again

Brought a tear to my eye watching that again. What an amazing run of games that was Yeah, our football club is like some old fart having sex. A decent run of huff/puff/ecstacy and achievement followed by turning over and falling asleep for ages. And now we can't seem to wake the bugger up!

I've got the game, or most of it on tape and watched it a couple of weeks ago. i thought I'd put it on the computer but can't find it at the moment. I'll do it again in the week and upload it to youtube if anyone is interested.

Our first 12 games of that season were W3 D3 L6 GF9 GA16 POS 19th. Ave home att 4700(ish)
I wonder how the forum was reading at that stage?
edit: So my point really is....although people are looking back with tinted glasses on because we got promoted eventually. It wasn't such a great season throughout and there would have been much frustration in parts, especially at the start! 'Fat/slow boys' Walker and Lambert did ok aswell that season didn't they!

Just wish they kept that team together. The spirit and understanding they had was brilliant.
