I don't know why other people were seeing that was a battle of one poor and even poorer side. The quality at time was embarrassing. Argyle were truly awful side.
another error at the back too concede, which was dissapointing. the movement at time was so slow, players standing still. Just no real cutting edge.
I am glad we won today otherwise I would have been worried. I will expect Argyle to be down there at the end of the season if they keep playing like that. But it is easy to see why good sides pick us apart too.
Important 3 points, at least it looks like there is one side alot worse than we are.

Alright showing considering all ticket and some of our recent performances although expect that to be a strong showing of Plymouth support as well. Thought we played well today apart from after the foul on Bodin which lead to Blissetts goal. Fine margins, strange refereeing decisions and cheeky fouls from Plymouth kept us from a 4-1 win. Tom Nichols is playing well and was unlucky to not hit the net. Said this about Jams last year but Tom is 10x the player and I’m sure will come alive once he breaks the camels back. Shout out for Ellis as well, who is proving his critics wrong (me being one of them). He still seems to be getting a little bit of unfair abuse from some in the crowd though. Yes he did get a little unfair abuse(left side of blackthorn) when failing to control a pass,did very little wrong though and has shut up most people for sure. |

Good performance for me.
Harrison was great.
Gaffney and Bodin got goals.
Felt Ollie Clarkes best game this season.
Argyle we're poor and we should have killed the game but you take 2-1 all day.

It was played before those. Why say definitely then??? Because it definitely wasn't played IN THE BUILD UP. Like you're so fond of saying - can't you read? It was played about 5/10 mins before kick off. You can't just say sorry for your negative fake news, blaming the club for something they didn't do? When did I say 'cant you read?' f**k me we hard work of that to let's face it a pretty crap Plymouth team. I feel sorry for Luke Nichols - the boy will come come good. Great 3 points though that's all that really matters. A quick note to the West Huntspill doom and gloomers, check the table we are only 4 points off the playoffs. UTG It's only the Labrador and myself and he is the jolly one ! You are a scamp mentioning me in your posts again bet you wouldn't have bothered if the Janners had scored in injury time!! |

Some lovely low firm crosses whipped in to the box today,looks like something they have been working on at training to me.
Brilliant finish from bodin.
Both teams started the game looking short of confidence but we managed to shake that off for a well deserved win.

Is it just me or is the Nicholls issue almost embarrassing? Gaffers scores & provides assist & gets taken off for Nicholls when oppo down to 10 men. It's almost like giving that pen to Luke James. Nicholls looks a decent player & nice to see someone play off the shoulder & stretch the play but by Christ he can't score for toffee. I assume gaffers was taken off to protect him. He missed Tuesdays game with a bad back. |

6 pages for this thread, 15 for the loss at Pompey. Tells it's own story I guess. I get such a buzz when we win a football match. Puts me in a good mood for the rest of the day. I even managed to endure a trip to IKEA with the other half without a major argument  I know most of us feel the same, I guess we don't need an outlet to express our happiness in the same way we do when we are frustrated or annoyed. Now let's see if I can retain my good work whilst I try and assemble my son's new desk. |
