Surely a mischievous city fan eyewitness?
Who really is brave enough to punch a police horse?

Oxford fans learning our horse punching ways haha It doesn't say whose fans were punching horses or throwing people against the wall. There is a little bit on the Oxford forum about it but again no mention of whose fans were the aggressors just that it was sparked by an idiotic bouncer.

From that article they make it out like Oxford made most of the trouble but that may not be the case. Shame after a thoroughly entertaining game that it has to come to this.

TBH if it was Doctor Bong who ran at Kempton Park yesterday, I'd want to punch that lazy b@stard in the nose.

I swear that the Bristol Post is having a wind up. Constantly digging at Rovers. Oxford are always trouble when they come to Rovers. With their army of 15 year olds dressed as bananas gobbing off its hardly surprising that something went off. Not the first time they have tried to take the Wellington. Toddle off back to posh land and bum Swindle.

Anyway as long as no Knutz stood in the gangways, it's all good bro.

I don't know who would really consider punching a police horse or any horse for that matter. They are quite intimidating to be fair, I wouldn't go near one. Surely the statement is a wind up.
Bit of a shame though that it did kick off though. was good display from both sides on the pitch and never any heasted moments. strange.

All very strange, the Welly is a family pub.
Plenty of Oxford in the Drapers, and not even a hit of a problem.

And if the 'bar worker' said " A policeman in riot gear shot someone and put the body in our cellar" would the post have published that too? Not unusual for the Post reporters to hype stories to promote anti Rovers feeling

In this case the barman should know who the woman was that punched the horse so is he going to spill the beans on that as well to the evil post

If I'd smashed down a few beers I'd probably be brave enough to have a go at a biggish donkey. I'd have to be provoked though, the donkey would have to look at me funny, or dance next to a girl I liked, or if he got served before me at the bar....that would do it. As for the horse punchers, I suppose they would want to take on a moose or camel next.
