Moved into a new house a few months ago and foolishly agreed to keep the fish in the pond in the garden. To cut to the chase, they're dying on us. Three in as many days. I think the pump is playing up, but can't really afford a new one.
Is anyone out there willing to take the fish off my hands before they all end up the same way? Or know someone who would? I'm in the kingswood area.
I think I can safely say this is time critical! Thanks

A water change will buy you a good few weeks to get rid.
If it's big fancy koi they could be worth a few quid.

Be careful with a water change as to much at one go can harm the fish unless you use a dechlorinator. If you just want to get rid,try free ads Bristol.

Thanks for the replies. I think they're just big goldfish rather than anything fancy. Just feeling a bit guilty as they've been in the pond for a good 25 years..apparently.
I've tried cleaning out the pump and I think it's just failing. I'll try the suggested water change to buy some time!
I've posted a message on a facebook group so hopefully someone will be able to take them off my hands. But if you know of anyone with a pond, please point them in my direction!

Dont change more than 25% of the water ,needs done now before it gets too cold, when temps drop to about 4 degrees filters are normally off, chuck a tennis ball in there and poke it through every now and then so the water can degass a tad , dont feed em when it gets colder as they will slow down to survive the winter

Thanks for the tips, and for the helpful puns!
I've tried replacing some of the water today. From what I can tell, there's only 3 baby fish and one medium sized one left. It's a bit sad. Hopefully they'll hang on in there until I can find them a better home!!
