Yup solve the problem by getting in a new manager now so he can make his win decisions in January and not have DC waste time and money bringing in non quality players All. Can see from it's is that wait until Jan then everything will be ok but people are alking about selling bodin and then replacing him where will that get us Realistically this is the only option we have unless we want to get relegated I just wish there could see the writing on the wall Midland, Why is your Avatar so red? Can you make it more blue?

Agree with most of that Hugo , except I wouldn't have brown, I would use bola as brown has no pace And Partington instead of Leadbitter as Partington is far better on the ball, and with three centre backs wouldn't be as exposed defensively. If we aren't going for wing backs then I'd like to see Bola left wing, see what he can do, never understood playing central players out wide. That's a good shout

Someone can just leave the sprinklers on, that will remove a few home games at least?

In our current position and run of form I'd be inclined to play fairly conservatively. DC seems more reluctant than in previous seasons to utilise a 5-3-2 so I'd try the following line up as 4-5-1,
Slocombe
Leadbitter, Lockyer, Sweeney, Brown (Fairly happy with Broadbent so far but feel too much pressure on at the moment which could affect him longer term)
Bodin, Lines, Sercombe, Partington and Bola across the midfield. (Sercombe would be play slightly advanced in a middle 3 with Bodin and Bola giving the width. Partington might be seen as a bit of a wildcard but our other defensive midfield options are not great and Parts would at least give some physical presence)
Harrison up front alone, working his socks off!
Hopefully come January a quality left wing/midfielder and a big unit of a holding midfielder will arrive allowing us to play 4-4-2

At the end of the day we can’t change the club and it’s infrastructure etc but we can try to change the results! Let’s focus on that! How can we make this better rather than why did this go wrong. No we can't

I dont think its about tactics, formations or even personnel now,its about going into relegation dogfight mode and scrapping for every point we can get until a bit of confidence returns to the side. Dont matter at all for me if the football is poor/scrappy right now its just about grinding out some results.

As it’s clear we’ll at least to me that our main problem is our lack of leaders then maybe we should get Mansel and Mildenhal back in the drsssing room and bench. Mildenhal could organise our defence in training and Mansel the defensive side of our midfielders, perhaps they already do , ? we need leaders on the pitch but having those two around more could be the next best thing.

I thought Mildy was already our goalkeeping coach? As such, surely he already works with the keepers and defenders.

I thought I read back when he was given the job that he was working with youth only but you could be right. I’m not sure what Mansel is doing either but do you get what I’m saying ? Having Lee Mansell on the touchline and around the dressing room could make a difference .
