DC is blackmailing the club he knows he's lost the plot and he's taking us down with him , he's got a 5 year contract and is not going to walk away from that he's waiting to be sacked for the pay off and on the meantime we are left to pick up the pieces If you really honestly believe that then your even more of a than I’ve given you credit for up to now. I wouldn’t bother supporting the Gas any more if I were you I think you’d be happier doing something else. Now now....no need for name calling. Its about opinions and im sure there are plenty of gasheads out there thinking the same. Midland is obviously concerned about the club ,though maybe letting his paranoia get the better of him a little.
D.C. is obviously frustrated and hurt .Probably wondering why the team of players who did so well in the past can not seem to get things right currently. I would seem he was hoping some of the team would step forward and take ownership to drive the team forward. This hasn't happened (perhaps because they don't have enough experience at this level to feel confident enough to lead ?)

I have tried very hard not to get sucked in to the negative threads but after Saturday I am so very disappointed I just have to say that whilst Darrell has been one of our best managers I hear strong rumours from within the club that he has lost the respect and support of some of the dressing room. Apparently it started in January last year when he was felt to have treated several highly valued members of the dressing room and a couple of young pro’s very poorly! The way he handled the disposal of McCrystal, Lawerence, Easter left many of the senior squad uncomfortable. It wasn’t the fact that their contracts weren't renewed but the way he handled it. I hear he didn’t even have the courtesy of taking them in to his office for a proper chat he simply said to them during training in front of everyone, furthermore he was heard boasting to staff and other players that ‘they’ were “Dead To Me”. Whilst fans were applauding his ruthlessness I hear the remaining players were left unimpressed, whether playing or not McCrystal, Easter and Lawerence were senior players and big characters in the dressing room. During the first few seasons of Darrell's reign the team arguably over achieved, that was largely down to a special camaraderie amongst the players and staff, I fear that has been broken and I believe we may struggle to recover that.

I also hear the players are unhappy with Chris Hargreaves (some believe he is after the managers job) following his treatment of some highly rated young pro’s which has been considered poor, I understand some had to paid off in compromise agreement to keep them quiet. During the first few seasons of Darrell's reign the team arguably over achieved, that was largely down to a special camaraderie amongst the players and staff, I fear that has been broken and I believe we may struggle to recover that. More rumours. Again, not really adding up. Our form was decent toward the backend of last season... And those who are particularly struggling. Excelled at this point.

And those who are particularly struggling. Excelled at this point. We got stuffed in virtually every away game, even Coventry beat us, then the final Millwall home game was a complete joke, although Locks is one of our worse performers and surely he appreciates what DC's done for his career? Although perhaps Lines less so! I agree another thrashing this Saturday and it could well become win or bust for DC for the Rotherham game.

Didn't we go on our best run of the season in January-March after bringing in Sweeney and Lumley though? It only really tailed off from Coventry onwards.

I did not post under DC out because I don't think the time is right for him to go. He has a very difficult task ahead of him but one he is capable of turning. I was shocked if I heard on the radio correctly or whether it was another "tongue in cheek " remark. As regards the players I feel we have plenty of reasonable squad players but way short on quality starters which is DC's main problem in that no matter who he puts in it is not changing things and personally I think he needs to pick a team and barring injuries stick with it until January. Certain players may respond to being given a run of games rather than knowing that they will be out after a poor performance.

This is untrue, the players were told personally by DC but afterwards he addressed the whole squad with the news, easter even played after being told his contract was not being renewed and was seen on numerous occasions at the ground on match days in good spirits.Just another rumour without substance i'm afraid.

From what I have seen and heard from talking with other fans, it seems to me this is more of who we didn't sign rather than who we did. What I mean is the defensive midfielder (competition for Ollie Clarke) would support the back four whilst the left midfielder (Montano replacement) would feed the front players, therefore giving greater fluidity between the defensive and attacking aspects of the team. Also, I expected Sercombe and Lines to be rotated as competition and mutual cover, rather than playing together. Solve midfield and I think it will help us to concede fewer and score more. I probably write this every transfer window but January will be vital.

Mate of mine told me that DC uses the ladies toilets at the Mem and always leaves the seat up. No wonder the entire club is going to sh**.
