If we average 1.7 points a game we finish on 78. How much better things are looking now. Just looked at last years table. That would get us a play off spot. Had to make sure I remembered correctly that Luton got 101 points.

We have had a difficult set of opening fixgures. 4 points from the next two please...

Good win tonight, made it difficult (as always with BRFC...) when they got a goal back but we were in control from the start. Cunnington should have had a couple as well as a few others. Shame we didn't really 'thrash' them, but a win is a win Onto Saturday, big test for us. Torquay struggled till the 90th minute to beat Woking tonight, I'd take the same. Anything better than that and I reckon we'll be up there come the end of the season.

Really enjoyed it tonight in fact, it was by far and away our best performance of the season. We are starting to look and play like a proper team now. DC has certainly sorted it out and got us playing some decent stuff. Confidence plays a big part i know, but we could and should have beaten Nuneaton out of sight and missed some really good chances.Gosling on the right hand side makes such a difference to Monkhouse, there is more balance and he holds on to possession better. Martin on the left side is a revelation and is fast becoming a fans favourite. I was very pleased for Matty Taylor he finally got the goal his performances has so deserved and it was nice to see every Rovers player run over to congratulate him when he scored. Both Sinclair and Mansell showed a better understanding of each other and both closed down space far better.
My only real gripe is our defending for the goal we conceded. What is wrong with Steve Mildenhall lately ? Has he lost his confidence to come out for crosses?. Any cross into our six yard box should be easily attacked by him,it is his domain and he should show his authority and either catch or punch, but he chooses to stay on his line. Even worse was to not defend your posts with defenders. Had we done so the free header they won could have been easily cleared. All basic defending really, but I am hopeful DC will sort this out now.

Agree with a lot of this especially Martin (class in this division) but not about gosling giving balance - he's a left-footer playing on the right - so he often drifted inside and didn't give us the width. Notice his miss in the first half - should have used his right for an easy finish. Having said that he is a neat player.

You are welcome to your opinion Mark ,but i feel Gosling has the ability to run at his defender and beat him where as Monkhouse does not. He is wasted in that wide position and offers us no real threat going forward. Monkhouse should be used as a striker only.

And the 100% record stays in naming bogus opponents. Gastroenteritis is genius fear not kingswoodbollock for it will never fail. Bollock eh pmsl. If you knew my surname, you'd know I have had many truly imaginative variations on that one Report says must try harder

Jon will have to substitute with a glass or two of "Buckie", Devon's finest export to the land of Rab C Nesbit Years ago, (probably about 40 actually) my parents took my sister and I to Buckfast Abbey on the way back from a holiday in Cornwall. I tried to buy a bottle of wine. The monk told me I wasn't old enough. It's only recently since being on other football forums I've seen it mentioned. Especially in Scotland, which I find bizarre.
