This could have been down to our suppliers ? To have six boxes of crisp out of date and Mars bars as well in a place that has a fast turnaround of stock has got to be pretty unlucky or really poor management , I would go for unlucky myself

So does anyone know why so many entities in our universe are named after chocolate products?

I had a steak and ale pie meal deal from the north enclosure pasty hut. First off we noticed that the crisps were out of date, so I took them back, they checked all the crisps, both flavours and all 3 boxes of each flavours were out of date, so they asked me to come back. So I did and got some in date, fantastic. Next my bro opened his Mars to find it completely white, the chocolate was off, so I took it back and they gave me another one. When I checked my mars, that was the same, so I went back, yet again, after checking 3 bars I got a good one. The servers were very apologetic, not their fault. So I have to ask myself what is going on there and why are we selling out of date food and also poor quality food. Anybody else have any problems? The chocolate would have been fine it was not off, fully edible when white, it was probably just down to how it was stored

Best Before dates are a rip off in my opinion, I've been happy to eat out of date crisps my mother in law no longer wants, including one packet nearly a year old. Tasted as good as one in date. You should have asked for a discount 👍

So does anyone know why so many entities in our universe are named after chocolate products? Anglicised names of American confectionary that have different names in the US I recall, based on chocolate from the Mars family so branding in the UK centred on the theme. Also tended to tie up with the space race so became fashionable.

Isn't it brilliant that I can't even pretend to be stupid

Well then , here's a really boring short story. For the first time ever , and I mean ever , I decided to live life on the edge. I purchased a coffee and , and , wait for it , a, a , Cornish pasty !!!!! To my absolute disgust I found........... it to be bloody lovely , so I bought another. Got bollocked when I got home though cause I didn't eat my tea !!!

I bought Mrs Scoobydoo a steak and ale pie and she loved it. It was rammed with meat, mushrooms and thick gravy. I finally managed to get one of the new sausage rolls (usually turn up too late and they've all gone). At first glance through the bag it looked very small for £3 so I jokingly asked the serving girl if I should come back at half time for the other half of it. She said it was small but was packed with filling. And she was right, it was fantastic. Almost certainly the best sausage roll I've ever had.
