Stop fannying about with maybes. Clarke is the right man for the job and has got the best out of Harrison. I don't care what you see or hear as it is clearly rubbish. DC is our man! Well on that note, i'll finish our debate. You know ggmi, you have some great points and make some valid points on the Forum, but you ruin threads/conversations so often, you don't do yourself any favours, it's your way or the by way. I won't be playing a part in those sort of games. The sad part is i, and others can sometimes have thoughts and opinions some others may value. Anyway, enjoy the game today. UTG You too!

With respect, this forum is for our views, you think very narrowly, and think everything is definitive. E.g "Clarke IS the RIGHT man" life isn't that straightforward, there is always a grey area, we never really know the full details or story. Time will tell if "HE IS" the "RIGHT" man as you put it, and i think we all hope he does a fantastic job, cause then we're all happy (especially you i would imagine as you're increasing sounding like he's you're hero which is cool, no problem with that). Now, Ellis, ah yes our Ellis , well again, we don't know the facts whether DC was the reason he got better, i see another side and hear other things, you obviously want to say 100% it was down to DC, that's cool but others may disagree, by the way he's still Tweeting and having a laugh despite people like you saying it's stupid etc. I think a lot of people would say it's you and the criticisers of Ellis who have been proven wrong, either way one thing is as close to certain as you'll get.....His two goals saved his managers job! Now let's get behind them the team and manager and pick up those 3 points! UTG Stop fannying about with maybes. Clarke is the right man for the job and has got the best out of Harrison. I hope we get more out of Harrison than a few decent spells from the bench, once he plays a number of full game and scores a few that's when we can say we're getting the best out of Harrison.

. ..... if anything i'm with Toppers GAS on this regarding "Post Braintree" somethings changed drastically. But Lockleazer and Dinsdale make the point that there's one thing a little unexpected that's been chucked in the mix - We're Winning! I've said on here i have massive doubts about DC, i won't go into it again, i just have. But i will support him and back him all the way and my urge to him is - Prove my niggling doubts wrong and make us successful. But in my opinion, he is walking a tight rope like no manager before this early in the season, i think the BoD will have no patience whatsoever this season and maybe just maybe they have learnt themselves recently to watch closer and challenge things before they fester, and have a contingency plan just in case, which can only be good. Remember even when you're sure, You're only guessing.......... ![](http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/default/pipeb.gif) You only have to look at Southampton to see that teams do sack managers who are perceived to be doing well. Many people questioned the sacking at Saints yet they did the right thing and had promotions in succession. I too have many doubts about DC abd have stated what I think. This makes things very interesting and makes me now wonder if DC staying inanimate and not doing interviews is part of this ?

It would explain why he seems so different in interviews, but after winning 4 games in a row for the first time since 2007? Surely Not.....

[WARNING - board bashing ahead]
I think this is BS. I'd love to believe the board had the ambition and forward planning skills to have lined up an über manager to takeover the second they see DC faltering in his "straight back up" mission to avoid the usual gap and hobson's choice situation we usually see when a manager gets the boot. And how sensible to have a few conversations with candidates and build a succession plan they can instigate should the need arise. And 2 weeks ago was looking like it might be needed.
No, it's BS cos we don't usually think ahead and realistically plan for what might be which is why we are where we are.
But you never know. . . For now, let's enjoy the fact we are on a brilliant run which, whether luck or judgement, is totally down to great signings and tactics of DC. And long may it last!
