Just as you begin to wonder about DC he pulls it out the bag again and again. What a great win and mid table against all the odds. Well done to him. If I was female which of course I'm not I'd be looking to send him a Valentine card soon Now he's gonna know who didn't send it.

Just got back. Think a draw would have been fair based on opportunities created. Both defenses looked shakey under pressure, we simply converted our chances where they didn't. Ellis, Sercs, Gaffers & Sincs the stand outs for me. Bola struggled, not sure he's up to league 1 at this stage of his career unfortunately A bit harsh on Bola when he made one goal saving tackle then had to move RB as the Donny LW was giving him a run around, after which he which we never saw much of their LW. I think he was there Topper, and you weren't ?

The score definitely doesn’t tell the whole story but we took 3 of our chances and deserved the win! Ellis was fantastic again today and took his chance really well at the end making it the perfect performance from him imo, man of the match by a mile. Utg

Let's just hope his performance doesn't tempt a Championship side to make us an offer we can't refuse next week. anything over a million I would take it What would be the point, where do you think that million would go?

Can't tell if that's a genuine moan from you! No way im just taking the mick out of south stand ultras comment for devilment lol splendid win and most happy for today and 2018 in general for us so far i did say after all my moans about dc that i would give him till the end of Jan , which i am doing and not posting anything negative about him (Other than on the transfer side which i believe we are all concerned about) and at the moment as i have said before i am prepared to be proved wrong and if i am i will hold my hand up and say so. for next weeks game the only way i can get to the mem is on the official shrewsbury town supporters coach which aint bad at only a tenner it would cost me a lot more than that to drive down just hope they will let me back on the coach to come home.

We could keep going on about it but whilst we have no ambition to improve our stadium, in a big way too, not just a new toilet seat and some paint, we will lose our players. Valuable 3 points today though. Well done DC for getting the best again out of what he has.

Just got home from the game.
We played very well today, especially when you consider the cheating and gamesmanship employed by Doncaster. During the second half they were desperately throwing themselves to the ground looking for a Penalty. Luckily the ref didn't buy it. He was probably looking forward to that Scottish twat suggesting he should be shot in the post match interview!
They obviously mirror the charectar of that cheating, moaning s hit Ferguson; what a complete T osser. Their No 9 Marquis is as bad. He must have committed at least 4 bookable offences in the first half and the ref had a couple of friendly chats with him. Arsehole of the highest order.
Ellis was immense, he terrorised their defence, and when he ran from his own half with the ball for our 3rd goal his defender couldn't get near him. Awesome.
Very good Gas attendance, but how they can say there were 8K+ there is unbelievable. The ground appeared less than half full.
Some of their chav fans were looking for it outside of the station, acting all hard and calling Rovers out. The 4 of us walked straight through them and they didn't do a thing.
Northern twats.

Didn’t go yesterday, largely because it was an away fixture and I’m a homer- sorry, part time I know.
However, I was at the home match against Donny. And DF was a lady garden. That’s not what I wanted to say.
At the home leg, Donny wanted to get wide. With diagonal passes/ switches and Marquez pulling himself out wide. It was a horrible scrappy game. We played the diamond and it was even but it was not that affective. Mid-week I heard in Elis’ interview that they working on breaking the lines through the middle. (Ie. Attacking with the diamond). And I thought feck donny kinda liked us a playing that formation.
An early goal yesterday and I thought bugger. But D.C. changed it. And the players adapted and we got back into it. DC missed the home fixture and had we hit them with a flatter midfield- we might of won.
