Wow you give HTE's boy match attax cards and that's how he repays you? Kids are too close to the ground and they touch everything. Hugo's lad was well chuffed cos I threw in some accessories as well. Just makes you feel good when you do a good deed and you get the reaction that I got. I witnessed this. HTY was over the moon!!

A really fantastic day out watching the Gas. After the calamitous first couple of minutes we really got going, especially in the second half where we started to move up the gears. Ellis Harrison was fantastic and really made his presence felt in what can be a hard role up top on his own, took his goal very well in what is becoming quite a common occurrence. Kyle Bennett looks as if he is going to be exactly what we need after losing Bodin, very good on the ball and provides that flair and spark which was missing in the team after billy. Finally I must say, what a player we have found in Tom Broadbent. Oozes confidence, dealt with everything that came this way and I don't think we have had a CB that is that good with the ball at his feet for a very long time. Magnificent performance and here's hoping we continue it as we go into Rochdale at home this Tuesday. UTG

Rochdale are desperate for points so will be a tough game. They might be in a little bit of a false position having 5 games in hand, But if our the lads are on their game then we have to be optimistic.

Brilliant game and a thoroughly deserved 3 points.
Apart from their goal, don’t remember Oxford having a serious shot on target or forcing Smith into any kind of significant save.
Defence very solid, midfield controlled the game and a bit of attacking brilliance won us the game. Superb 2nd half.
Love picking up our annual win at the Kassam!

Love reading the Oxford forum after our annual win there. They’re always so bitter, lose count of the number of posters who call us mediocre every time 😂 If we were mediocre then what the fook were they??

We gave them a headstart and still didn't need to get out of second gear to win...

I listened to Radio Oxfordshire on the way back from the game. It was a program that ran in a very similar format to the Geoff Twentyman saturday afternoon show. They had covered the commentary of the game and, post-match, there was a series of interviews with the Oxford manager & players together with a number of phone ins from Oxford supporters.
Good grief......... If I thought it was depressing to read some of the comments on this forum and some of the call ins to GT from our own supporters....... I have to say that the Oxford fans have beaten us all ends up......... If I was an Oxford fan listening to that on the way home, I think I would have been searching for a rusty razor blade by the time that I got home.
I am really sorry guys but if you want to be depressing and pesimistic, you are going to have to really up your game to match the Oxford supporters - they beat you hands down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
