So on we go to Scunthorpe, "if" we win this game, we will be 6 points behind them with a game in hand over 'em. I'm looking forward to this game, think we will win a high scoring game 4-2. Ellis with a couple, Bennett and Sercombe. Think we will have a 5 figure crowd, 10,260 (180 Scunthorpe fans)
Roll on Saturday!!

Fingers crossed Ellis is playing. Looks like he picked up a knock on the weekend.

I won't be starting the match day thread that's for sure. Though I was only 20 seconds away from four unbeaten last Sat.

We were unlucky in this fixture last year, an absolutely horrendous back pass from Harrison all but gifted them a goal, they were top of the league at that point too. I'm fairly confident for this one, Scunthorpe are a decent team so we will probably go one down like usually but a couple second half goals from the usual suspects (Harrison, Sercombe, Partington, Sinclair ect) will hopefully give us the points to avenge the game at their place where they scored in the last few seconds after we had battled hard all game without our first choice centre backs available to us. Might be worth playing Telford alongside Harrison after his brace for the reserves?

Apparently DC's hoping to get him on the cheap in the summer by keeping him hidden under the radar, although I assume scouts watch development squad games. Back to Saturday assuming OC's out injured it will be interesting to see what formation we play, will Parts step back into a CM roll, with JC coming in at RB, or will DC go 4-4-2 with Moore starting on the right? Plus who'll play alongside Locks.

We've won 4 of our last 6 games. Scunthorpe have only won 1. They are on a downward spell at the moment and we are pretty solid at home, so I'm not worried about their 11 point advantage over us.
Another 3 points for sure.

Apparently if you took Josh Morris' goals out of their side they would be 12th, so he will obviously be one to watch and a threat. They also have Ivan Toney who is a handful. Apart from those two they don't have anyone that particularly stands out and if we play to our best I think we can win.
Edit: I forgot about Hakeeb Adelakun, who is a class act and been outstanding for them this season...if he plays he will be a real danger man. I also like Cameron McGeehan who has been coming off the bench recently.

Seems odd we have only given them an initial allocation of 300 tickets (100 seats and 200 standing) if that is all they think they will bring why not give them all 300 tickets seated surely that would be more cost efficient for us even if we lowered the price?

You have to give them 10% of the stadiums capacity even if they won't fill it. I think in special circumstances like D+R last year you can negotiate on this but there is a chance Scunthorpe could bring more than 300 on Saturday so it's not worth the risk. It's not as if we regularly sell out anyway so there's not much point.

Gas legend but I’ve got to say watching Marcus in interviews makes me feel like I’m going to have a panick attack on his behalf. I had to turn that off half way through, the bloke needs to take a deep breath and relax.

After a poor performance and result last week I get the feeling this will define whether we will push for play offs or sit in midtable.
2-0 win to Rovers
