Went to the Mem and bought my tickets this morning. Voucher K from the ST book. The lady in the shop told me there are still a good few tickets left...Had a look at he pitch on the way out and the ground staff were starting to lay the covers over it. Reports say it will be -4c tonight so I suppose they're taking no chances. Saw Steve Hamer walking across the North terrace from the offices towards the Thatchers End. I wonder if that means anything? Got Wind and trying to walk it off ?

Can you buy over phone? I wanna go but can’t get to Mem with voucher before Saturday Yes you can, but it is complicated. You have to phone up and pay - they reserve the tickets in your name BUT they won't release the tickets to you until you POST the appropriate voucher to them (Voucher K, I think). You also have to send them a self addressed and stamped envelope too. When they receive your voucher, they send you the tickets in the SAE envelop that you have sent them. Alternatively you can just take a risk that there will be some left in the shop on Saturday. Not complicated at all. I simply rang booked my ticket paid on line ( no sending stamped self addressed envelope either ). I just sent my voucher and received said ticket in two days.

Albaron
Of course it’s complicated. What other transaction involves having to put something in the post to the seller after having paid!!
Antiquated and ridiculous.

Then they would have to check everyone giving in a voucher against the same database to check they had already not had their ticket so it would mean longer queues in the shop and make the whole voucher thing rather pointless. I'm saying scrap the voucher thing. Just check the database when you give your season ticket number. The tickets get sent to your name and address only, no one elses (to avoid any shenanigans).

Presume it's potd for Plymouth fans? Anyone recommend which part of ground to choose as we aren't getting more tickets?

The capacity of home park is 16,300 so if they are allocating only 1500 that's less than 10%. Baffling decision not to allocate more, it means they lose out on revenue and the police have to deal with the potential trouble of away supporters in the home end.
At least at Rovers, we allocate above 10% of the ground and to be fair we can't give more as there isn't any space. At Plymouth, the away end capacity is 2000, so why not just allocate that to us?

At Plymouth, the away end capacity is 2000, so why not just allocate that to us? They have to arrange police and stewarding for match days on a game-by-game basis, it's the same as when we allocate some standing, or some seating to visiting fans. I know we're always going to sell out BECAUSE WE'RE MASSIVE, but imagine if they said 2,000 capacity, pay on the day, and we took "70 odd" like that lot did one away game. I agree with what you're saying, and a few of my mates missed out because they were told they lived too close to have tickets posted to them ( tommym9 ), but that's why clubs often allocate more, then a few more, then a few more.

True about allocating a few more at a time, when they do that. They have already said we won't be getting any more though. So not sure why that has not happened, when the away end holds 2000.

I remember Peterborough did something similar last year, we still had an outside chance of the playoffs a few weeks before and it was our last away game so they allocated us the whole stand which holds about 2500 but we lost at Gillingham the week before which all but ended our chances for the playoffs and we ended up bringing a lot less than what we had of done and I presume Peterborough would of had to foot a huge policing and stewarding bill as a result of that. I think it's pretty much accepted that we would bring 2.5k - 3k to a place like Plymouth. Our support away from home is really good even when the team isn't playing so well, we brought 3k to Portsmouth, the year we got relegated to the Conference. I'm sorry that a few of your mates missed out. The ticketing situation is something that needs to urgently be addressed especially with the kingswood shop closing.

The ticketing situation is something that needs to urgently be addressed especially with the kingswood shop closing. That's going to be linked though, it always struck me as odd, old fashioned and out-dated that an arbitrary amount of tickets were sent to that shop and not linked to the rest of the sales or monitored in real time. The online tickets will be sorted this summer, but I'm skeptical about the away ones...if they can't manage it now, even though all our vouchers have a reference number on, it'll have to be one big database for everything. Which will be awesome!

Luckily I had emailed Tom Gorringe to say about how silly this was and he has *hopefully* sorted it. It has relied on me posting my season ticket voucher which is an antiquated way of doing things.
