Going to be a tough game, I'd take a draw right now. 9,100 In attendance. That's if it's on......!?

I presume the covers will be on tonight and most of tomorrow. With temperatures struggling to get above freezing and then forecast minus 2 at kick off and minus 3 or 4 by full time I have my doubts that the referee will start the game especially on a mud patch which has already been labelled dangerous.

I can't see the game being on. The ground will be rock solid. Far too dangerous.

Why would you tajke a draw - you come across as very very positive about Rovers ? I do want us to win, but Wigan are a very good side. I just think it'll be a tough ask. Our results against the top teams isn't that good. If someone offered a draw now I'd take it.

We all want Rovers to win and I agree with you I'd be happy with another Home draw as I think we are currently off form quite a bit.

Anyone for a sweepstake as to what time the game will be called off? I would guess a local ref will be called in to assess it at lunchtime ish - my bet will be 12:30 postponement.

It’s about -4 over night , will go up to about 3 or 4 tomorrow day time but will drop to around freezing at dark and I reckon it’ll be about -2 come kick off time. We’ll be waking back to our cars in about -4. If it’s on.

Are you serious? Given that it's forecast to be -5 tonight and - 7 tomorrow night in Dorset, why do you expect it to be any milder in Bristol? Not sure what's better for us, to play Wigan on a shocker of a pitch tomorrow night or in a month or so on a decent, of sorts, pitch.

Thanks, local forecast down here said it was cold but not as cold as that so I didn’t know the Bristol temp. Was just surprised there was a question mark over the match. UTG!

DC said the ref on Sat thought it dangerous & we need to be aware. If it is on, I think we could spring a surprise & would rather play them now than in a month or so. Not hopeful of a game tho

They look a bit daunting after their cup exploits, but on current league form there's nothing between us. Being home could give us the edge.
