There's no way I'm sitting in -2 with a wind chill bringing it down to -6 for 2 hours tonight. Call me lightweight whatever but I've done my part for the last 45 years to warrant a night in a warm house. Up the Gas. You're more than 45 years old,? I had you down as a teenager 😂

Good point. I have a flat pack to put together, so I'll crack on with that instead. Give that 30 minutes and you'll wish you were at the game. It's a 4 boxer, so I'm sure you're right.

I'm guessing it's worse down south then. I'm teaching in Wetherby and they have a school football match going on. We had snow this morning but the sun has been out intermittently. Maybe right now it's good for us to have it postponed. We haven't been at our best in the last couple of games and could do with getting Ollie Clarke back fit as he balances our midfield. Ellis was far from 100% fit on Saturday either. We may have been set for a tonking tonight had the game gone ahead. I suspect it's the temps later that would have been a problem. Once the covers come off it will hit the freezing air & then can only get worse as the evening goes on. I really could have seen a 1997 Wigan happening - but this time abandoned

Wigan's fixture pile-up could be a big issue for them. They'll be gutted this has been postponed as their next game is away to Blackburn. They could find themselves 5pts behind 2nd place come Sunday night if they lose, and that would put a lot of pressure on them to win their games in hand, a pressure exacerbated by the fact that they have looked the best team in the division so far this season.

I hate that new term “snowflakes” - just a media driven buzz word. surprised nobody has jumped on the racist bandwagon saying this makes white people out to be delicate people. If it was the other way around... just saying! You just did.

At least somebody had the sense to make an early decision to stop fans travelling I remember in the late 80,s or early 90's we were playing Wigan away and they called the game off just as the players were coming out of the tunnel at about 255 that was cr

Will our new ground have under soil heating? Question to ask Wael. Sure he would know what would be considered for plan b, c, d...

Wigan face playing a game on average every 4 days, + FA cup. The game could be played next week, but Latics are playing Sunday. After that I think the next likely date is 24th April.

Looking at the forecast for the next few days, i think there is a strong chance of widespread fixture disruption at the weekend, luckily for us we should not be affected.
