Plymouth away is a must win game and Wigan at home probably is too, nevermind the rest of our fixtures. Don't think we are good enough but can't be too disappointed considering I thought we would be relegated after Bodin left.

After next Saturday, 6 of our following 8 games will be against the current top 8. Unless momentum took us on a ridiculous run we'll end up in mid-table Still a very good year

On the very presumptuous assumption that Rovers beat...Northampton,Bury,Southend,Fleetwood,Gillingham to gather 15 more points (sub total 64pts) It will mean having to win one of the following games to beat last seasons 66 pts (10th spot) Beating two of them to nab 8th spot (70pts) Beating three or four of them to make the playoffs (73-76pts)
Wigan (h) Blackburn(h) Charlton(h) Plymouth(a) Rotherham(a) Peterborough(a)
So bottom line is Rovers can only afford to drop six points if they want to make the playoffs (2 defeats or 3 draws or 1 defeat 2 draws)
13-15th spot....disappointing 12th spot...ok. 10th spot..good. 8-9th spot...very good. 7th spot...brilliant. 6th spot...incredible.

I agree it’s a big ask. It’s much easier to think we won’t. Unbelievably ground breaking if we get to play offs. There have been times this season when I’ve thought myself it might not be possible. Not tonight. It’s in our hands. Every club who’s gota chance will feel it’s in their own hands. 33 points left to play for there’s a hell of a lot of football to be played yet. UTG I think wees will do it! Meanwhile...live footage from Jordan where Wael is leading th celebrations with his pals after watchin th match on iFollow...... I did not go like many others but a great reward for those who travelled and by sounds of it a great team performance keep it up gas Everyone get home safely So do you still think there's no chance of Clarke getting us into a mid table position?

Excellent points. Getting promotion through play offs would be ground breaking.

Great result. Play offs a big ask and another mid table or above will be good after the first half of the season. Let’s concentrate on the next match and win that and if we do catch up with the others then anything could happen. Beating Northampton is a good possibility then we face Argyle and Posh. Just concentrate on Northampton then this time next week think about Argyle. COYB! UTG!

As much as I don't like to criticise DC I hope he manages to get a grip on our form early on next season. It seems to be a hall mark under DC that our form is at best indifferent in the 1st half of the season before we go on a run in the second half. That run of away defeats has given us too much to do now.

Yeah forget about it then! Disappointing as at the moment it looks like we have an outside chance with Plymouth still to play...but there is no way we are going to match the traditional play off points watermark if the margin for error is 6 points between now and the end of the season.

Teams around us are inconsistent. One will put a run together. It’s not over quite yet. We might be that team. It’s excitingto think it might be us.

What I don’t think we’ve quite got is the quality. Our matches against the top six sides over the last two seasons have shown that so far.
