What is needed is rebuild the east stand in the car park extend the clubhouse end to meet the new east stand so it's all coverd and seated with the east stand build a smaller stand where the tents are build a bigger west stand that covers the length of the pitch as the east stand has been moved from its present location the west stand could be made bigger width wise

I will not be renewing my season ticket next year. Fed up of going to football games and sitting in the rain in the ironically name dri Build. Will pick and choose when to watch the Gas, much like how the board choose to share anything with the fans. Will pateiently be watching the evolution from afar. Unless there is some form of 'vision statement and time line' from the owners I won't be renewing mine either. i think that's the least we can expect - the only thing we think we know is that they are pushing ahead with a very much scaled back training facility which will not impact one iota on the match day experience. I'll pick the games when I know I'm not going to get hosed down from the elements. Sad really and a few friends outside of this forum are doing the same. An analogy is a wife saying to her husband - "darling we really do need a new kitchen - it would make life so much easier/better for all of us". Husband - "I know but it's going to cost £20k" Wife "but it'll be worth it in the long run - it has to be done and the longer we wait the more expensive it's going to be - you know it makes sense - our credit rating is good - we can afford a loan" Husband "yeah I know - but!!!!" Two weeks later - husband to wife "come and see what I've done" Wife expecting to see brochures and appointment with kitchen consultants for a new kitchen finds a new towel rail fitted in the downstairs loo. Result - one totally pi££ed off wife.

Ok.

Yeah that's certainly an interesting point but what I want to known is if they had the feasibility study done and it came back positive how come the deal fell through? And why has no one made a definitive statement about why the deal fell through? And also I'd like to know if the feasibility study came back positive how come the deal fell through? Not to mention the question of why no one has made a definitive statement about why the deal fell through. Why do you want to know this ? it cannot help in the current situation only the vanity of certain posters Think LJG was taking the proverbials!

I think that’s perfectly understandable You'd base your decision to renew on that? Blimey. I base mine on good value and wanting to watch the Rovers.

Getting watered off with getting soaked is perfectly understandable . They’ve said they might pick & choose games a bit more dependant on the weather . Paying good money to get drenched is not much fun.

maybe if season ticket sales go down they will pull their fingers out and try and get those people back Season ticket sales go down and all they have to do is make a statement and they'll come back? Yea right.
If he doesn't want to renew because of not being told everything and anything by the owners then that's up to him.

I'd go through fire and water to watch Rovers. (Not if it's raining though, of course).

Without meaning to sound insensitive, but could you move to another part of the ground with a roof?
I might be way off the mark here.

There again, a dose of rain might help some of our precious flowers to ...um...um... mature.

That would allow for an even better new kitchen or even a chance to move home. What if his job is under threat and repayments become a problem? Then of course, there are those who have predicted such an announcement will come as a cynical way to boost sales. I understand your point, though, and even when I was able to go to all home games I rarely had a season ticket. Missed out on that Liverpool game at Twerton!
