How can Blackburn fans know more about it than we do? Not saying it's untrue, just very strange if it is! Ain't got a clue but i seem to recall a ted ,think his username was kid in the riot ,appeared to know more than we did about the planning and sainsburies , it sticks in my mind because he would post then the club would post He didn't actually know much, he just adopted the cynical view of our future as most city fans do. So obviously if a stadium plan has fallen through for us, it's a city fan who "knew" about it first. Remarkable how silent they stay when something right goes for our club considering how quick they are to pipe up when something goes wrong.

To be fair, kid in the riot was in the know somewhere in the pipeline. He knew about the Sainsbury’s pull out even when Nick came out and said we were still on track and the contract was watertight. There was no guesswork.

I wrote this on 7th June 2017 and have not changed my opinion:-
"Topper, I am surprised at you.
Gasincider clearly said "So I remain positive". In other words he was positive and still remains positive. That means he has not changed his mind.
Me, I'm 99.99% confident this will be built."
I was referring to UWE.

When did you learn about it, okeb...? When an owner / c.e.o / chairman etc of a company starts using "management speak" and giving cliche one liners like " the contract is watertight " alarm bells usually start to ring. I've worked in sales since I left school and dealt with many clients and businesses who spout the very same bullshit when things are going Pete tong.

New stadium at UWE? Doubt it New stadium somewhere else in the City? Doubt it New (revamped) stadium at Mem? Maybe, but when did that plan become "off track" in order to warrant it being back "on track"?
Sounds like a load of bollox to me.
Yeah , but we've got a lovely new blue tunnel for the players to walk out of and don't forget the new(ish) state of the art electronic score board , it will be better than Wembley in no time! Would you prefer that the things which can be replaced or upgraded weren't and just left to degrade further?

My take on u w e is they could screw higgs and co for what they wanted out of ro ers but along came the family who are well used to amateurs and they seen right through the university and could see they were trying to get more from us as the family had much more financial clot that's when al wael pulled the plug on the stadium That’s the impression I got and still get but it’s over so that’s it as far as I’m concerned , sod the UWE and get behind the club the board and the team.

So have you always remained that confident? Or have you heard something, that has reboosted your confidence?? When it was first announced the deal was off, I thought we were playing games, to get a better deal. As time went on, I believed it was dead. Now I'm not so sure lol.
