I have just one small whine about an otherwise great clip. When she steps up onto the programmes at the end, couldn't they just have spent one minute clearing the cups and litter out of the way to make the stadium look a bit less neglected? Hubert J Fussy Surbiton Surrey I like that. Gives the clip authenticity. my only gripe is the 2018/1019! I suppose you're right. I don't imagine anyone going to the Mem will expect Wembley. At least not until we build the new stadium at Filton.

I thought the way it was put together was great, shows we have moved on as a club.
I am struggling with the message though. The guy has enough money to buy himself a shirt, scarf and a programme every week. Why couldn’t he sign her up as a young pirate and get her a free season ticket?
She should have been a regular for at least the previous two seasons the cheapskate.
I have a daughter, she had her first season ticket at the age of three.
My suggestion would have been:
Parents take child to Saturday morning football Footage of child playing and the morphing through various age groups to become one of our own players playing on that Saturday morning pitch. While this is happening the parents are thinking about the match day experience, bit of banter with their friends.
Cut to teams coming out of the tunnel, focus on the player
Sound of fans singing “one of our own” then pan to parents stoodproudly on Thatchers end singing their hearts out too
Then closing credits to the tune of goodnight Irene.
Be one of our own. Live Rovers Love Rovers be the 12th player.
(and that is why I am not in tv production)

The reason they didn't do it for the girl in this video is that she had gymnastics which didn't finish until 3 on a Saturday. When she didn't make the elite squad her parents decided it was all a bit too serious for her at a young age and decided she should go to watch Rovers instead.

Little by little, step by step things are happening at the club. Wael always said it would be evolution and not revolution and yes, it is going far too slowly for some, it is however moving in the right direction. This is a very professional video (apart from the one spelling mistake apparently) and puts us in a good light. Onwards and upwards. UTG!

I'm pretty impressed with the concept and it does demonstrate a level of professional that has been pretty scarce in all my time (45 years) of watching the gas so it's even more frustrating that no one proof read the final version and missed out that needless mistake 2018/1019. I guess it's evolution not revolution and rome wasn't built in a day but the avoidable mistakes are the really annoying ones. Still it's a 9/10 for me and a visible raising of the bar.

They've reuploaded it now with 2018/2019 I've been wondering for a while and without wishing to be flippant or crass but is someone at Rovers actually dyslexic? I worked in a company once where the guy who did all the part marking on components was dyslexic and no one realized for ages. We all just thought he was crap at his job and he was too embarrassed to say anything. We don't half seem to make a lot of typos.

Health and safety would have turned her away at the gates. Too dangerous standing on those programmes
