Without knowing what Linesy said you can’t judge, but what is clear by the refs reaction is that the ref loses his cool himself. Refs should be objective not reacting based on emotions. Don’t forget a lot of refs are in it to be famous so you can’t give them the opportunity to make it about them

According to Clarke, the ref has had previous with us. He gave the penalty in this one: Disallowed a perfectly good goal as well from memory? Perhaps that's what Lines said as he walked away "you f'ing cheat" as clearly something wound him up! Anyway Pompey beating Wigan and Charlton winning probably puts paid to any remote chance we had of making the play offs

Poor goals to concede. I don't know where Parts was for the first, but the keeper should've still done a bit better too...a good strike, but fairly central. The second was a bad header from Locks and poor positioning/decision making again from the right back.

Parts came off for Sweeney (our only defender on the bench) after 30 minutes, so that might explain it a bit. Could have done with J Clarke, guess he's injured again.

Blimey, we certainly do have history with him then. All is forgiven.

The point remains for whoever was meant to be filling in on the right hand side. But like you've alluded to, injuries haven't helped the situation.

Difficult to judge the red card based on that. If Linsey has said something as he walks away then he only has himself to blame. After the initial talking to he went back towards the ref again which suggests he did. Very silly.

Apparently undroppable Tom moved to right back when Partington exited the pitch. He's had a Weston for both goals then. It's happened many times this season, but we all know that. I know he is team captain, but he gets rewarded with a place in the team every match. Regardless of his performances.

Google "Referee Ross Joyce" and see the trail of controversial decisions he has left in his wake. I don't know if he is reacting to the criticism he received for the Puddy decision at Wembley, but he's certainly no friend of ours this season. This one made me laugh: www.theguardian.com/football/2006/oct/09/womensfootball.sport
