DC has already talked about his annoyance on having to develop other clubs players and he's just signed a new contracgt at Brighton so they certainly won't sell him. If Coventry don't go up this season, I'd certainly have a look at CB Jordan Willis, another young talent. I like Willis, but can think of others I'd prefer over him like Ben Heneghan, Dorian Dervite, Israel Puerto, Sebastian Neumann and Matthew Steenvoorden. All are, apart from Heneghan, available on a free this summer. Have you seen many of these foreign players have u watch in person or just on YouTube?

Considering Rotherham's League position - anything close will be a good effort by the Gas They've won once in the last 6, twice in the last 9, they're hardly Blackburn or Wigan!

Think my comment about Bennett was spot on, too many touches - he should have buried that

City were 3-1 up too. Them losing this 5-4 would be hilarious. 4-4 is hilarious enough as it virtually ends their season, a win would have put them just a point off 6th.

Not having pop just want your views as it’s a gamble I reckon so. The ones abroad mentioned above are all either 6ft 2in or 6ft 3in, strong and with decent pace. They've all played international football up to U21 level too.

Consistency is key for centre halves along with experience of correct decision making. Solid pairings aren’t built with bit part appearances and a lack of match sharpness. Centre halves will give away most pens, Lockyer has given 4 or so away this year. Most tackles will be made in the 18 yard box and if the odd one goes wrong the ramifications will be larger than one given away by one in the centre circle. All of the above is sharpened and skilled with game time. Not watching an old dog prolong his career at a level he can no longer consistently compete at. Watch and Learn What, how to be turned inside out and end up on your arse, not to jump to clear an easy cross and allow the opposition striker a free header and to generally not bother, like todays goal. You mean that kind of thing? Watch and learn applies to watching videos time and again of proper centre halves in their prime, not converted full backs and putting it into effect in your own game when you play. You learn little from live football, pitchside, 50 yards from the position you play in.

All you managers on here haven’t been training with the players all week or closely involved in their fitness etc, BUT DC has so we don’t know the circumstances why who plays and who don’t and perhaps DC wants one more look before he decides who goes and who stays and hopefully DC will stay 🤞 He also watches Moore, Clarke and Nichols, who all get regular starting berths who have also been poor. 90 mins on the pitch from 3pm on a Saturday is what counts.
