The pitch is looking much better, sorry cant think of anymore positives especially when I look at Wigan's squad. Hopefully the best player in League One (IMHO) will be missing for them tonight, Nick Powell. What a fantastic talent he is. I'll never forget when he scored 2 for Crewe and destroyed us in a 5-2 thrashing at the Mem. What a performance. Actually, I'd rather he did play so our players can test themselves against the best. Even if he is missing, their side is quality. |

Blackburn and Charlton had good squads too yet we gave them good games and picked up a couple of draws. I expect roughly the same tonight, we will have to be very switched on at the back and we may need some luck going forward but there is no reason why we can’t get a decent result with the crowd behind us. 2-1

I saw the away game and he blew us away in that one too.
Muzzy Carayol was injured for that game and said the lads came back saying he would be the next Zidane!!
Just shows that even if these bigger clubs aren't paying big transfer fees, they are certainly making up for it in wages.
Yeah id love him to play and teach our lot how to control a midfield single-handedly!!

Remember Nick Powell going off injured in the away fixture. Really looking forward to seeing him play tonight along with Will Greig, congratulations to Wigan imo definitely the best team BRFC have faced this season.It is a real shame we cannot compete on the same level as the Atics, although support wise we are already premier league.
