The thrown-ins. I am sure Darrell has the stats at his fingertips and will tell me I’m wrong but I feel like our winning a throw in isn’t an advantage. The thrower always seems to have a lack of options and we get turned over quickly. Couldnt agree more

There's a lot of call for a big man up front, but he would also have to be very mobile for a big man, due to the way we play. We've been at our best this season with direct passing to a mobile and interchangeable forward 3 or 4 that presses hard, and I think that's how Darrell likes us to play. In style (obviously not quality!) more Liverpool than West Brom.
I also think that's a major reason why we (and Liverpool!) concede so many goals. That style of football will get you a lot of chances, but if the opposition get through your press then you are in trouble. Exciting way to play, anyway.
Love to know when we press hard up front. In fact it would be nice to see more than one up front before the final 30 mins. We did so against Wigan and looked like we could score a hatful, but with no big guy up front we offer no threat from corners or free kicks. Also, we have no one capable of holding the ball up.
