I am getting increasingly pessimistic about what's going on with the Training ground, not sure if it even worth talking about a ground any more... I can't believe we are still waiting for news on this I'm still 99.9% sure UWE will be built. Agree with this Severncider, I think the UWE will proceed with a scaled down version in the near future. I'm glad we won't find ourselves tenants to them... 🤞

The deal might not be 100% dead but if there is no real desire by either party to agree what the other party considers is reasonable then the deal may as well be dead, as far as Sevencider saying he's virtually certain it will be built who's feeding him this nonsense or is he just making it up? Fairly sure he was joking, to be honest. But it's not the first time he's posted that?

There's no smiley face etc on his original post on this thread, or from memory when he posted it previously and his partner in crime, Gasincider, keeps suggesting something similar on here both probably encouraged by an ex-director who seems to think the project is still alive.

I'm expecting some good news on the training ground plans to be submitted soon. A rumour I've heard is that some fans will be very disappointed. It's almost certain that there will be NO TENTS. A few sheds for the goal posts and nets maybe and a couple of porta cabins for the grass mowing equipment perhaps but definitely NO TENTS. Looks promising that there will be more than one football pitch as well. Very much looking forward to progress. UTG

Rumour I heard is that they will be putting a bouncy castle behind the goals at the Colony, so the players can get used to that "Mem Experience". Don't know whether to believe it or not.

I can confirm the Colony has both a Car Park and a Camel loading area and a place for players to throw their collective dummies out when they get dropped
