Very happy at the moment with progress so far. Upsom seems a good signing.
Why have the Gas not signed more yet? Plenty of time with 2 months to go, it's called brinksmanship I think? I'm sure things are taking shape quite nicely in the background without everyone having to be consulted and ITK. I don't need better communications on the matters until the deal is done.
Think I'm correct that most player contracts run until the end of June so unlikely that any players still under contract til then will become public until that date. Other players under contract may have been agreed in principle subject to the releasing club making signings of their own so unless your stomping up large sums of money to start the ball rolling you just have to sit and wait your turn in the merry go round.
Chill out and relax, turn up to a few preseason friendlies in the sunshine refreshed in the knowledge that come the first game of the season a new squad will be in place alongside the refurbed bars. UTG

Need two LBs, a winger for each side, another striker (possibly two, depends on how much faith one has in Nichols).
Nothing to worry about.

Is a Tom Nichols Look-Alike!!!!!!!!!! Club News Rovers Tie Up Deal for AFC Bournemouth Product Sam Matthews.Nicknamed ,'Stan'. Photo property of Bristol Rovers Football Club.
AFC Bournemouth midfielder Sam Matthews became Rovers second signing of the summer when he today penned a contract with the club that will take effect from 1st July.
Manager Darrell Clarke said he was delighted that Sam had agreed to the move; “Sam is a very talented young player whose progress I have monitored for a while now.
“He has worked hard and, learnt a great deal, from his time at Bournemouth and, of course, during his loan spell at Eastleigh in the National League last season.
“We had to compete with a number of other clubs for his signature and I am delighted that he has chosen to join us
“His arrival will intensify competition for first team places at the club and I look forward to working with him.”
Upon siging, Sam had this to say; "I was on loan at Eastleigh last season and played quite a lot of games in the National League and then had some interest from other clubs, Rovers being one of them.
"I met with Darrell Clarke over the summer, had a chat and as things progressed it's resulted in me signing today and I'm really happy to get it done.
"He told about the club itself, the squad the he has here and told me there's great spirit amongst the players."

A lot of Eastleigh fans spoke very highly of Matthews from his time with the Spitfires. Only 21 aswell so he has lot of potential.
Our midfield has very fierce competition for places now with Matthews, Clarke, Upson, Sercombe, Sinclair, Russe and Lines so maybe we could have few departures?

Sam won "Player of the Season" at Eastleigh last season, as well as the "Players Player of the Year" award.

Possibly, but feel we were too light in this area last season anyway. Suspensions, injuries and fatigue will always come into play so no harm in having a variety of options.
As you say, there's fierce competition now and that can only be a good thing.

The others are all fighting it out for CM.

It seems to me that it's relatively easy to sign defenders and central midfielders, the problem for any club is signing quality goal scoring forwards.
If you're lucky to have a couple of those in your team, the defence and midfield have an easier time of it because the opposition are concentrating on stopping the forwards.
If we could sign someone ala the Snake to compliment Ellis I believe we could give the league a right good go this season.
