We did indeed. I doubt very much that people like Oldgas actually check anything. Although it would appear you'd forgotten this, and only remembered when reminded by someone else. 😂😂😂😂😂

Who wants or has said “get rid of those horrible foreigners”? Keep peddling this myth that everyone who voted Leave is racist if it makes you feel superior. Tis the opposite Eric, people can't see more from the far right voted stay than leave, people don't get it ,they just believe every one they dislike voted leave. The far right these days tend to forge links with likeminded people all, over europe and rely on free passage throughout europe, theres many reasons for this. As i said most don't grasp or understand this as they have already been told that to want to leave you have to be a rcist. Me i just don't like belonging to the Fourth Reich(aka eu). laugh all you want(not you eric) but look where the money came from to form the eu and theres a trail right back to those companies that used slave labour during the war, it apperars we walkied into the thousand year riech with big flufy blinkers

Anyone affected? "I was shocked to receive a notification saying that my bank account is going to be closed in two months," says Sharon Clarke, a Briton who has been living in the Netherlands for 20 years and who banks with Lloyds. "They said that unless I provide a UK address, my account will be closed and I'll have to cut up my card." She is one of thousands of British expats living in the EU who are being told their bank accounts will be closed because of Brexit. Lloyds Bank has written to 13,000 personal and business customers, saying it will no longer be able to offer banking services once the Brexit transition period ends on 31 December. And Money Box found Barclays, Barclaycard and Coutts - which is owned by NatWest Group - are taking similar action. Experts say it is because lenders will lose their EU banking licences, making operating in some countries too costly. However, HSBC and Santander say they have no plans to close British expat accounts in the EU. www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-54240777

If we’re trying to make generalisations quite a few of these areas have high percentage of ethnic minorities. (Perhaps only certain types of generalisations are allowed?)

London has the highest ethnic minority percentage in the country, it’s pretty much 50/50 I believe - so that argument is out of the window immediately I’m afraid. Liverpool was stay area though I think? Tbh I think the covid numbers probably have something more to do with manual working and less office jobs, than anything else?

We will have no intelligent, thoughtful, responses please. I was taking the water, sort of obviously. And you are right. If an overlay of average incomes, housing quality, educational outcomes and health outcomes was made over those areas then they would be a strong indicator of a poor Covid control scenario. The very same areas that were impacted by austerity the most.
