You really need that explaining ? Mind boggles sometimes with our fans. We’re getting dicked on the opening day of the season, I couldn’t give a flying **** how city are getting on. People really need to get their priorities in order. Only two clubs whom I care about results. I want Rovers to win I want 82ers to lose.

Shocking isn’t it. “Corner!!!! It came off, off of, off, of, off.....the Peterborough player in front of us. 🙄🙄” I would have thought that the sort of insight we might want to get from listening to our chairman's commentary is not whether he can recognise the opposition's right back. It is when I’m trying to get an image into my head as to what is happening on the pitch.🙄

Gone quiet on the game front in the last couple of minutes. What's happening? We're losing 2-0. Thanks pirate x

Things look better. Passing is better, more urgency, but no chances.

Thought I'd have a quick gander for Walsall fans opinions on Bakayoko.... wish I hadn't!

Hamer new striker 95% shore to sign Monday big tall lad, so rumour regarding the Walsall lad sounds likely? That aside, but is it just me - Hamer is embarrassing to listen to, it’s sounds like someone down the pub volunteered their uncle Stan to fill in for the now departed Brookman commentary with dire circumstances? Dreadful.

Amadou Bakayoko is 6ft 4, yet his goalscoring record is no better than Nichols'.

The possible signing of the Walsall kid has all the signs of a desperation panic buy?

True, assists to help compensate for lack of goals at least to some extent. Bakayoko and Nichols upfront something to look forward to I suppose. Scoring/creating 28 goals is decent. Sounds like a bargain at £35,000. Shame we didn't sign him.

Mensah and Reilly offer far more upfront.

Which I understand led to the expression “Back to Square One”. Might be wrong on that last bit though.....🤔

The possible signing of the Walsall kid has all the signs of a desperation panic buy? certainly doesn’t sound like a first choice signing but you never know he might end up becoming a legend. I’d never heard of Matty Taylor until he signed I looked at his record and that he couldn’t get in to FG side and thought WTF ?

Craig was absolute class last season. Nichols I'll give you. All about opinions. Yeah, only opinions. I thought Craig was weak in the air, slow, weak against a big man and non existent at organising the back 4. What little I saw of him I'd give him a bit of the final point but agree with the first 3. He seems to know the dark arts but those will be negated in some games, when his weaknesses are exposed in other ways (e.g. height or pace). A very strange signing. Very old school signing - experience but not sure what else. And very much against our usual transfer policy - a long contract for an older guy & said he'd come for game time (clearly expects it, and gets it). Mass majority of Lge 1 teams seem to have 2 big, physical CBs. Physiology of CBs has changed a lot since Craig was a lad. He's very small really. The only 1 we have is young & mysteriously has hardly got used since the winter.
