Rovers been on top without particularly threatening. Absolute nothing goal from them. Bit more positivity from us and this is still winnable.

Well since going a goal down we’ve been absolutely awful.

We've been terrible. However the ref has no control over the game. Any ball into our box at least one Southend player hits the deck. They're a terrible side but so far we've been no better.

Agree with this, at home and we’ve had 1 shot (against the bar from Nichols) all half. Two defensive midfielders and no width. Poor again from Smith, lucky the second was disallowed as he was no where to be seen again. Worrying times |

We actually started okay, but after losing Sercombe it's been dross.
Southend are a limited and dirty team and every time Payne goes near one of their players they go rolling around to try to get him a second yellow. The ref isn't buying it to be fair and has actually booked one of them, but there is no way Payne will get anything less than ten yellows this season.

The goal was typical Rovers defending this season and last .
Their right wingers got the ball Craig is stood ten yards off him watching him cross the ball, it comes across no defender attacks it, it ends up on the other side our right backs nowhere to be seen Rodman is ten yards off player with ball, like Graig doesn’t make any attempt to close him down the ball comes across no Center half attacks the ball AGAIN and they score.
Just about as bad defending you’ll ever see at any level let alone professional players on thousands of pounds a week.
