Is gasheadwest Steve West? Nah. Been on here since the old forum. What I have said is a fact. What it actually means is speculation but UWE don’t have sport academies so why re apply.

The previous board took us to the conference and to the brink of administration.
Can't say I'm enthusiastic about the thought of any them returning.
Still, all these rumours have done their job I suppose.

Yes, they took us to the Conference, but then again you could argue that they brought us straight back up, and even did most of the donkey work in the following promotion season? So, if you knock them for taking us down, then you also have to give credit for the recovery?

Assuming it's true then have they just re-submitted the original stadium plans or amended plans to now include whatever the ALQ's were intending building?

The original plans were submitted by Bristol Rovers, not the UWE..... just sayin'

Without getting carried away, if they are going to build they might as will go as big as possible now, put a stamp on it.
Please no one respond saying we won't fill it. Lets have some ambition.

Here we go again. Wonder where the 29 acres at Hortham sit in this new 'master plan'.? The South Gloucestershire Local Plan (2018-2036) earmarks Hortham as a possible development site along with lots of other places.

Or the stadium falling into disrepair?

They didn't want to spend much money on it. Maybe, as things stand, the AQ's now see the Mem as our permanent home?
