I would have liked to be there to see them, it must have been fabulously rewarding for the players as well as the kids, however it may have resulted in my arrest! It's a great initiative and one that would certainly continue to embed the club in the community and ensure fans of the future.
Great work BRCT

Good work. We need to be pro-active around North Bristol/South Glos'we need a new generation of Gasheads. Too many of the other lot around what USED to be a Rovers fans area, although you can understand why sadly. I live what,a mile or so from the Mem',but over the years I see more and more kids/adults wearing the 82'ers shirts. Makes me sick!!!
Get them young by any means. Keep up the good work.

Brilliant stuff, thanks for posting. It's all well and good people posting their grievances with certain elements of the club, but the positive things deserve just as much praise as the negatives deserve criticism, in fact even more so. The club should drive this positivity wherever they can, as a feel-good factor can go a long way in football.
UTG and kudos to the players for getting involved with this. Keep up the great work!

Just got back from helping with a history project at Orchard school(just up the road from the Mem'). 7 pupils-all boys aged 12/13.Of the 7,only 2 actually attended football matches.1 was a Rovers fan,the other City(his dad used to work at Trashton),the other 5 while saying they liked football, had never been to a live match.Too many other things for them to do? How can we get them down to the Mem'?.Prehaps through schemes like the Community Trust.

I run another Bristol based charity and we do a fair bit with the Community Trust.
In my opinion Adam and the team are excellent and definitely add real value to the football club.
They do some brilliant work around education and engagement and genuinely have community interest at heart.
We are proud to be associated with them.
