Boring first half. We've looked poor. Dartford playing for a draw as expected.

Fair few Dartford fans been removed. Really, is that due to the penalty incident?

Boring first half. We've looked poor. Dartford playing for a draw as expected. Hopefully they might open up a bit second half now that we are in front and, also hopefully, we can then exploit that.

For the first time in years we've got a target man who wins headers and I'm delighted with that but the support running onto it ain't there. We're basically playing very similar to the way ward played , cunnington is better than Harrold that's the massive diference, but we still haven't got players around the target man to feed off him and create or score goals. Mansels sitting back so is Clarke but what we need desperately now we've got someone up front winning those headers is someone who's going to make an aggressive run , take a chance , look for it. What we need is a conference lampard type or one of the wingers to cut inside as cunning ton heads it. It's still way too static. If you play a target man and he's winning the headers then you've got to take the chance when he goes up for those , we're not going that. Lucky to be one nil really and I'd take that now.

Bit dead on here tonight. Not much livelier at the Mem currently either. Only just got up. Forgot about the game!!! We had a bank holiday here on Monday, so I got confused what day it was.

Pre-season Clarke promised us attractive, flowing football but hasn't really delivered. I think he's scared of losing his job and has chosen safe, grinding out the result football

Brave of MT to step up for the pen, hate to think what would have happened to his confidence if he missed. Desperate for him to be our 20 goal man for the season.

Fair few Dartford fans been removed. Really, is that due to the penalty incident? When Matty celebrated he ran close to them but it was nothing really. They took it badly and it involved some lengthy rows with stewards before some were removed. It was still going on when I went for my half time pint.
