Hopefully we will be more comfortable playing an ex league club on Saturday. I should never be nervous in the last 20 minutes of any game v the likes of Telford, Dover and dartford.

Thank goodness for that. We have to do something to be more clinical and to take our chances when teams come here looking to shut up shop and work on the breakaway, otherwise we're going to drop more vital points

Halifax, Gateshead and Barnet - get out of our way. Can we now believe that we can finish above teams like this? A win is a win and we take it!!!

Would've liked a less nervy 2nd half but will take 1-0 wins all the way if that's what it takes. UTG!

I hope not. Bloke was escorted out. Why the keeper deserves abuse I don't know. Let's not jump to assumptions lads. We know this forum gets read by shi t stirrers. In 15 years I've never seen a keeper react like that. He was enjoying the banter before.

taylor MOM well chuffed in inee towers Trotman a rock at the back, and not making a mistake. Has he signed a new contract yet? I haven't heard anything. We really should be beating the likes of Dover & Dartford by three or so. Agree about dartford etc, but these are the tricky games, always tiny clubs who cause upsets, As for taylor theres a bias in our house as his away kit was sponsered by the wonderful FFS in memory of our beloved ann-marie-irene

This game really proved that we cannot take any team for granted in this league.

Most of these teams will come for a draw. Or try for a breakaway 1-0 win. A couple of games we scored in the first few minutes were the opportunities to really hammer someone.

We never have a long-term project at Rovers - so YES it does matter. Attractive football potentially won't work, equals Clarke losing his job, which equals someone else coming in who may not play attractive football anyway and not get us results either. If Clarke says he'll bring us attractive football, he will when the time to implement it is right. Going back to my post which got you two debating I wasn't talking about us playing attractive football I was saying we need to support our target man because he is a very good target man , tonight he won almost all his headers but we never capitalized on it. As for do we really care if we're winning then obviously the answer is no but 1-0 wins can easily become 1-1 as we saw on Saturday. If we can get onto those flick ons then we can turn those 1-0 and 1-1 into comfortable wins and win promotion. We're unlikely to see great football this season I accept that. If your going to hoof it to a good target man and he's going to win the headers then your wasting your time if you don't get men around him. This why we're winning 1-0 and drawing games. We're one or two players and a little bit of luck away from being promotion candidates but Cunnington must be getting so frustrated at winning these headers and playing so well and his team mates aren't getting on the end of it. UTG !!!

I've gone against logic with my 3-0 prediction. Logic tells me 1-0. Well done Mr Spock.

Said it before, our players cannot read Cunningtons game, then you must ask, they train with him, and why don't they,or vice versa, when they know each other's weaknesses and strengths the goals might begin to come to kill off teams?
