Who is taking away your free speech? Well I've been asked to tone down my comments on here about a certain person , although those in favour of the certain person can spout what they like as long as it is in his favour other than that as I've said before the P C brigade wants to shut everybody up from having a say just look at the Kleenex problem today where they have had to change their product labelling because someone said it was sexist - the world is going mad You were asked not FORCED. You could have carried on about DC, but people would have moaned at you louder. What you're moaning about is people moaning at you for carrying on. As for Kleenex I don't care. If a company feels they need to rebrand because of what someone said on twitter that's their business. It doesn't affect my life one bit so why care? |

An ex-police officer trying to 'play down' the significance of a quite blatantly dangerous individual. Obviously for various reasons. However you will not stop people following him by calling him pathetic on radio 4.
Choudary wasn't handed a 5.5 year prison sentence for no reason.

Glad you listened to it. I disagree. The highlight for me was when he stated that in the opinion of the security services Choudary was a coward, someone who craves the limelight. The killer comment was when he highlighted social media's responsibility in enabling him to achieve a "presence". But that's just my interpretation. |

In hindsight I shouldn’t of made a comment. I think it's been pretty reasonable, much more so than in the past on this and previous incarnations. There is a heavy bias AGAINST outright derogatory and racist remarks made towards any race. There are debates about nationalism and how that permeates politics and policy, but apart from one or two members even that debate remains civil. |
