So off we go to yet another hard hard away game.
We both have some of the best defensive records in the league, we've conceded 14, and them just 12.
0-0 Anyone.....?

The weather forecast isn't good for Blackpool or the North West in general with heavy rain and strong winds expected, (and Blackpool is usually quite windy anyway) I don't expect Rovers to score as DC will set up the team to defend and defend and then attack and attack in the last 20 minutes. After the game DC being interviewed will say "Listen, the conditions weren't perfect, but that's not an excuse. (Scratch his right ear) We changed things around in the second half but lacked movement in the final 3rd, and we still don't perform as well as what I see in training. But we go again next week in a tricky cup tie. Yes it will give us a bit of a break
Blackpool 1 Rovers 0
Translation, it was wet and bloody windy and I went for a 0-0 but after they scored I had to change it. I am stuck with the front players and they really aren't very good. Yes we are away in an FA cup tie next week, I dont expect to win or even draw as my record in the cup is Dam useless. But at least I wont have to worry about the league

Blackpool had a tough cup game last night, plus a long journey to the capital and back whilst we've had a week of routine training, why not surprise them and take the game to them for the full 90 mins as surely they'll be a bit jaded? Feeling the usual defensive game from the start is surely playing into their hands?

Just go for it, I don’t think I could take another 1 - 0 defeat.

Was thinking that myself about the red card....then thought these things were competition specific for bookings (witness Ollie Clark bookings). Does the same count for red cards as well - in that he cant play the next game(s) in that competition (whenever that may be) but can play in League games? Guess we will find out come Saturday.

I think AFC Wimbledon's Will Nightingale is more likely to get his second league goal for Rovers than Tom Nichols

I think it's only the checkatrade nonsense trophy that is specific for cards. Blackpool had Gnanduillet sent off at the weekend, and he was banned last night. Edit - so that should mean they are both banned for Saturday What is interesting is that Craig was shown as on 4 booking a couple of weeks or so ago on the FA Suspensions website, and then he got another so we all thought he would be banned, but he doesn't appear on the lists at all now?

1-0 defeat. 94th minute own goal by Nichols who, having just cleared off the line from a Blackpool corner, is distracted from the play while playing with his hair and the resulting shot hits him on the arse and goes in
