Sincs has so much credit in the bank with us. He has an amazing attitude, is a top professional who always has time for others, respects totally his privileged position as a pro footballer and has far more ability than some give him credit for. Today he made a mistake at work. Why this provokes such disrespectful and dismissive comments from some on here is a complete mystery to me. It’s fair game to say he’s not good enough if you don’t think he’s good enough but why is it necessary to be an asshole about it when the guy is and always has been a credit to the club? Agreed Sincs makes more tackles than anyone else at the club when you’ve got that kind of ball winner in the team he’s going to pick up cards. Saying he’s not good enough or that he shouldn’t have played because he got one tackle wrong and got sent off is ridiculous. Every time he wins a tackle ( which is all the time) he’s great, gets one wrong he’s not good enough lol. |

Spot on, the last thing a football league side should do in a cup tie against a non league side is for any player to lose his head. Sinclair has clearly done that. So they automatically makes him not good enough ? You don’t make mistakes then ? Give the guy a break for Christ sake ! I have never been a Sinclair fan, an opinion I am entitled to, just as you are to yours. I have praised him for good performances in the past, but doing what he did today is not acceptable as far as I am concerned. |

Lines got dismissed for something very similar earlier on in the season. There was a similar tackle by Stephens for Brighton yesterday which earned a red card.
It’s a mistake driven by a desire to win the ball but can also be dangerous. It happens. Move on.
